I really liked this film when I first saw it, and I agree with everything you’ve said about it; I also agree that this drama and romance film is special, as it stands out quite a bit from most typical Hollywood rom-coms with their happy endings and the like. Here, the ending is raw and realistic, particularly when it comes to the characters, which is what really stands out. Every character we meet has their flaws and their own way of seeing the world, and that is what brings them together and, at the same time, drives them apart in the end.
A very good recommendation, to be honest.
