Hola Holaaa! Saludos artesanos creativos de esta prestigiosa comunidad jewerly; espero que hayan empezado con un lunes productivo; llenos de energía positiva para que está semana nos de muchas satisfacciones, en lo laboral, personal, emocional y todo el conjunto de vibraciones que nos brinda el poder de dios para estar sanos y radiantes de felicidad.
No sé si están enterados que hoy se celebra el Día Internacional de la Mujer Indígena; este día fue creado con el objeto de destacar la importancia de esa mujer por las luchas y defensas de sus pueblos, y el papel que juega dentro de las familias y las comunidades.
Y es que nosotras las mujeres, indígenas, campesinas, reinas, negras, dónde nos llamen ahí estamos.
Mi manualidad de hoy, tiene algo que ver con los adornos que usaban los indígenas, pues se elaboraban sus amuletos, pulseras, collares con piedras, ramas secas, plumas todo de forma muy artesanal; es una pulsera confeccionada con cuentas de madera, aquí les dejo el paso a paso:

I don't know if you are aware that today is the International Day of Indigenous Women; this day was created in order to highlight the importance of this woman for the struggles and defenses of her people, and the role she plays within families and communities.
And it is that we women, indigenous, peasant, queens, black, wherever they call us, there we are.
My craft today has something to do with the ornaments used by the indigenous people, since their amulets, bracelets, necklaces were made with stones, dry branches, feathers, all in a very traditional way; It is a bracelet made with wooden beads, here I leave the step by step:
*Para confeccionar la
pulsera usé los siguientes
materiales:
*Cuentas de madera
ovaladas.
*Cuentas de madera
redondas.
*Piezas tubulares de
madera.
*Hilo encerado marrón dos
metros.
*Tijeras.
*To make the
bracelet I used the following

*Wooden beads

*Two brown waxed thread

Con estos sencillos pasos hice su confección:
PRIMER PASO: tomo dos metros de hilo encerado marrón y lo corto a la mitad para así tener dos trozos de un metro cada uno, uno las puntas e introduzco una cuenta ovalada, luego una cuenta redonda, otra cuenta ovalada, otra cuenta redonda y una última ovalada; para un total de dos redondas y tres ovaladas, como muestra las imágenes.

SEGUNDO PASO: Aquí las cuentas están en el centro del cordón encerado, abro los hilos de cada lado y empiezo a colocar las piezas tubulares de la siguiente forma: introduzco por una punta de uno de los dos hilos un tubular y luego lo cruzó con el otro hilo lo llevo hasta el centro donde están las otras cuentas y de la misma forma hago diez piezas más para terminar un lado y luego realizar el otro lado.
SECOND STEP: Here the beads are in the center of the waxed cord, I open the threads on each side and begin to place the tubular pieces as follows: I insert a tubular through one end of one of the two threads and then cross it with the I take another thread to the center where the other beads are and in the same way I make ten more pieces to finish one side and then make the other side.
TERCER PASO: ya tengo listos los dos lados de la pulsera para asegurarlos hago un nudo en el centro de cada eslabón final, (ver fotos).
THIRD STEP: I already have the two sides of the bracelet ready to secure them, I make a knot in the center of each final link (see photos).
CUARTO PASO: ahora para terminar la pulsera hago un nudo corredizo de la siguiente manera tomo una cuenta redonda y por ella introduzco una de las puntas, luego paso el otro hilo por el lado contrario y lo cruzó, para asegurar el nudo pongo una cuenta de las ovaladas junto a la redonda de un lado del otro lado también pongo una ovalada pero dejando tres centímetros de espacio para correr y ajustar el cierre, por último pongo dos cuentas de las ovaladas para darle un diseño más casual, y así va quedando.
STEP FOUR: now to finish the bracelet I make a slipknot as follows: I take a round bead and insert one of the ends through it, then pass the other thread to the opposite side and cross it, to secure the knot I put a bead the oval ones next to the round one on one side on the other side I also put an oval one but leaving three centimeters of space to run and adjust the closure, finally I put two beads of the oval ones to give it a more casual design, and that's how it goes.
