Gratos saludos tengan todos mis queridos viajeros de todas partes del mundo, en este Jueves quiero mostrarle lo que fue mi paseo al histórico teatro Baralt un lugar de gran historica para Maracaibo y Venezuela.
Warm greetings to all my dear travelers from all over the world. This Thursday, I want to show you what my trip to the historic Baralt Theater was like, a place of great historical significance for Maracaibo and Venezuela.
El estado Zulia posee lugares con gran historia y entre ellos esta el teatro Baralt, el pasado sábado estuve visitando y me deleite con su gran belleza, arte, cultura e historia, es un icono de gran cultura, puesto que en este recinto se presento por primera vez la primera pelicula en Venezuela, engalana el casco historico de Maracaibo, este se construyó dos veces y la primera vez fue inaguarado en 1839 justamente en la esquina de la plaza Bolívar, en 1883 se construyó de nuevo el teatro Baralt siendo un edificio totalmente neoclásico, luego en 1887 se proyecta la primera cinta visual es decir la película en nuestro país, en 1932 se diseña el teatro actual bajo un estilo totalmente neoclásico y ardeco, siendo una joya en el siglo XX, al pasar del tiempo ha sufrido muchas modificaciones, pero en 1998 fue reinaguarado nuevamente, siendo ese principal lugar de esparcimiento para el arte y la cultura Zuliana.
The state of Zulia has places with great history, among them the Baralt Theatre. Last Saturday, I visited it and was delighted by its great beauty, art, culture, and history. It is an icon of great culture, since the first film in Venezuela was screened here for the first time. It adorns the historic centre of Maracaibo. It was built twice, the first time in 1839 on the corner of Plaza Bolívar. In 1883, the Baralt Theatre was rebuilt as a totally neoclassical building. Then, in 1887, the first film was screened in our country. In 1932, the current theatre was designed in a totally neoclassical and art deco style, becoming a jewel of the 20th century. Over time, it has undergone many modifications, but in 1998 it was re-inaugurated, becoming the main venue for art and culture in Zulia.
Fue nombrado como monumento nacional de Venezuela en 1981, en este lugar prestigioso se presento el gran Cantiflas, también Teresa Carreño, su arquitectura es totalmente clásica posee distintos ventanales en sus ambos laterales estos poseen arcos encima de ellos que constituyen cada uno de los ventanales todo un espectáculo visual con vibrante sol marabino, siendo bastante fascinante el teatro se encuentra pintado de blanco pastel y amarillo pastel, en su extremo suferior posee pequeñas bases decorativas que simulan una terraza, los mas grandes artistas se han presentado en este gran lugar, todos los años reunen a cientos de artistas para sus distintas expresiones artísticas e incluso en este recinto se realizan los actos de grados de la casa gremial universitaria más importante del estado Zulia.
It was designated a national monument of Venezuela in 1981. This prestigious venue has hosted performances by the great Cantiflas and Teresa Carreño. Its architecture is entirely classical, with large windows on both sides topped by arches, creating a visual spectacle bathed in the vibrant Marabino sun. The theatre is painted in pastel white and yellow, At its upper end, it has small decorative bases that simulate a terrace. The greatest artists have performed in this great venue, which brings together hundreds of artists every year for their different artistic expressions. This venue even hosts the graduation ceremonies of the most important university guild in the state of Zulia.
Del lado del estacionamiento se encuentran las inunmerables piedras que conservan su estructura fantástica de sus primeras fabricaciones ya que cabe destacar fue construido en diversas ocasiones para lograr las mejores arquitecturas, cabe destacar que estas piedras son historicas ya que estos ladrillos eran fabricados con sangre de diversos animales bovinos incluso mucho de estas piedras las utilizaron para construir edificaciones que se encuentran en lugares historias como la Iglesia Santa Barbara, la casa de la Capitulación o Casa de Morales, la Iglesia Cristo de Aranza, es un patrimonio ineludible de nuestra historia Marabina, estos ladrillos se encuentran distribuidos a lo largo del estacionamento son bastante hermosos y fantasticos sin duda alguna cada vez que los veo los contemplo, lo que hace que este teatro tenga mucho más patrimonio histórico.
On the parking lot side, there are countless stones that retain their fantastic structure from when they were first manufactured, as it should be noted that they were built on several occasions to achieve the best architecture. It should be noted that these stones are historic, as these bricks were made with the blood of various bovine animals. Many of these stones were used to construct buildings located in historic places such as the Santa Barbara Church, the House of Capitulation or Casa de Morales, and the Cristo de Aranza Church. They are an essential part of our Marabina history. These bricks are distributed throughout the car park and are quite beautiful and fantastic. Without a doubt, every time I see them, I contemplate them, which makes this theatre have much more historical heritage.
Ahora bien apesar de que posee tres puertas centrales para ingresar a el, justamente dos de ellas te condoncen hacia las escalera que estas te conduces hacia sus dos pasillos, estas escaleras son muy parecidas a las de un gran Castillo, e incluso ya desde este puntl comienzas adeleitarte con todos los detalles artísticos de su gran interior, manifestando en su gran techo obras de artes abstracto de nuestro país, e incluso sus grandes lámparas que son tres encargadas de iluminar esta entrada principal estas asemejan una gran luna sin duda son bastante increíbles porque no son candelabros que tienden hacer muy comunes en las arquitecturas neoclasicas si no lámparas increíbles, ahora bien si creemos que su entrada es supeer fantásticael gran protagonismo se lo lleva su gran sala, en la entrada podemos ver placas en cada lateras, una de ella dice que este teatro busca rendir un gran homenaje culturasl al hombre de las letras Zulianas el gran poeta Rafael María Baralt.
Now, despite the fact that it has three central doors to enter it, two of them lead you to the staircases that take you to its two corridors. These staircases are very similar to those of a large castle, and even from this point you begin to delight in all the artistic details of its grand interior, with abstract works of art from our country displayed on its large ceiling, and even its large lamps, three of which are responsible for illuminating this main entrance, resemble a large moon. They are undoubtedly quite incredible because they are not chandeliers, which tend to be very common in neoclassical architecture, but rather incredible lamps. Now, if we think that the entrance is fantastic, the main attraction is the large hall. At the entrance, we can see plaques on each side, one of which says that this theatre seeks to pay a great cultural tribute to the man of letters from Zulia, the great poet Rafael María Baralt.
Llego el momento de entrar a la gran sala y pude evidenciar su gran plafond el cual se dice que tiene un diametro de 540mts cuadrados, este fue realizado por el artista Zuliano Antonio Angulo, la obra fue emsamblada con la ayuda de unos trapacistas de la ciudad, ya que se encontraban en un circo justamente en el año 1932, siendo las primeras obras decarte asbstrato en el país, justamente en la parte superior del teatro podemos encontrar un circulo con un gran circulo que hace tributo al arte, este gran estilo que posee el teatro Baralt, no sólo en el centro sino en cada lateral te hace perderte en tanto arte.
The moment arrived to enter the grand hall, and I could see its enormous ceiling, which is said to have a diameter of 540 square metres. These were the first works of abstract art in the country. At the top of the theatre, there is a large circle that pays tribute to art. Ahora bien el teatro Baralt en su obra más actual y la que se encuentra totalmente vigente fue construido por el ingeniero León Jerónimo Höet, pero fue Antonio Angulo quien le dio el sentidp artistico al interior del recinto en su techo y bases laterales fue el creador de tanto arte que se encuentra por todo el teatro el gran protagonismo se lo lleva su gran techo, un interior totalmente majestuoso posee una gigantescas lámpara en todo el centro que tiene forma de una gran flor esta es blanca pastel y se encuentra sombreada de ligeras líneas negras, el techo es lo mas fantástico tiene datos interesantes a simple visa podemos ver que este se encuentra colocado, en diversos cuadrados y es que estos grandes cuadrados fueron colocados uno a uno, fueron las personas de la ciudad que una vez diseñado esto se encargaron de pintarlos justamente en la plaza Baralt que se encuentra en el frente, que hermoso que la gran disposición de las personas Marabinas haya quedado plasmado en la historia y el arte de la ciudad.
Now, the Baralt Theatre, in its most recent and fully functional form, was built by engineer León Jerónimo Höet, but it was Antonio Angulo who gave the interior of the building its artistic flair. He was the creator of so much of the art found throughout the theatre, but the main attraction is its grand ceiling. The interior is truly majestic, with a gigantic lamp in the centre shaped like a large flower. It is pastel white and shaded with light black lines. The ceiling is the most fantastic feature. At first glance, we can see that it is made up of several squares, which were placed one by one. Once the design was complete, the people of the city took it upon themselves to paint them in Baralt Square, located in front of the theatre. How beautiful that the great spirit of the people of Maracaibo has been captured in the history and art of the city.
Por último el teatro Baralt cuenta con 630 butacas en donde las personas pueden sentarse en la gran sala, y en los dos pisos que posee en donde puedes tener mejor visibilidad a todo el lugar sin duda alguna es uno de los lugares más hermosos de la ciudad y el teatro más activo, al salir puedes encontrar el paseo de las estrellas donde se le rinde un tributo especial a esas personas de gran influencia y valor para la ciudad quienes han hecho sus grandes aportes en el ámbito artístico, entre estas estrellas podemos ver las estrellas de Astolfo Romero gran impulsor gaitero, Ricardo Aguirre el Monumental conocido por su gran letra "La grey Zuliana", quien falleció bastante joven al ser atropellado, también esta Gilberto Correa famoso animador Venezolano, por último Renato Aguirre unos de los grandes compositores de grandes gaitas entre ellas, "La elegida".
Finally, the Baralt Theatre has 630 seats where people can sit in the large hall, and on the two floors, where you can enjoy a better view of the entire venue. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in the city and the most active theatre. When you leave, you will find the Walk of Fame, which pays special tribute to those people of great influence and value to the city who have made significant contributions to the arts. Among these stars, we can see the stars of Astolfo Romero, a great promoter of gaitas, Ricardo Aguirre, known as "El Monumental" for his great lyrics "La grey Zuliana," who died quite young after being hit by a car, Gilberto Correa, a famous Venezuelan entertainer, and finally Renato Aguirre, one of the great composers of great gaitas, including "La elegida."
