Gratos saludos tengan todos mis queridos amigos viajeros del mundo desde sus distintas partes hoy quiero seguirle mostrando este hermoso lugar el Museo de arte sacro de mi ciudad.
Warm greetings to all my dear fellow travellers from all corners of the world. Today, I’d like to continue showing you this beautiful place: my city’s Museum of Sacred Art.
El museo de arte sacro es un lugar fantástico, ya que posee diversas partes en un poco anterior, conocimos toda su fachada externa y ahora vamos a conocer cada una de su lugares internos, los detalles interesantes e históricos que posee es un lugar enmarcado por galerías fotográficas de fotos antiguas, así como también retratos artisticos, elaborados por artistas de la localidad que tienden a ser bastante hermosos, así como también los detalles antiguos que posee su edificación que forma parte de la identidad propia del lugar, al ser un lugar histórico con más de 100 años antigüedad, donde residió, el obispo Lasso ofrece mucho más que historia a cada una de las personas que le visitan.
The Sacred Art Museum is a fantastic place, as it comprises several sections. Earlier, we explored its entire exterior façade, and now we are going to take a look at each of its interior spaces, The interesting and historical details it contains are framed by galleries of old photographs, as well as artistic portraits created by local artists, which tend to be quite beautiful. There are also the ancient architectural details of the building itself, which form part of the place’s unique identity, as it is a historic site over 100 years old where Bishop Lasso once resided. Bishop Lasso offers much more than just history to every visitor.
Ahora bien, al entrar al lugar uno de los detalles más interesantes, es su techo en alturas, ya que a diferencia de los otros techos característicos de la ciudad, estas casas antiguas se distinguían, por tener un techo en altura, ya que más ya que permitía tener mayor paso del aire permitía una ventilación dentro de las casas totalmente natural, ya que Maracaibo tienende hacer una ciudad caliente, esto permitía que tuviera mayor fluidez del fresco de adentro hacia afuera, es por eso que podemos evidenciar que los techos son sumamente altos para permitir la facilidad de la distribución del viento a lo largo de toda la fachada interna de la casa, así como sus enormes pasillos.
Now, upon entering the building, one of the most interesting features is its high ceiling; unlike the other roofs typical of the city, these old houses stood out for having a high ceiling, as this not only allowed for greater airflow but also enabled completely natural ventilation inside the houses, given that Maracaibo is a hot city, This allowed for a greater flow of cool air from inside to outside, which is why we can see that the ceilings are extremely high to facilitate the circulation of air throughout the entire interior façade of the house, as well as its enormous corridors.
Porque va a lo mejor el techo es totalmente machenbrado techo de madera, fabricado en roble, ya que anteriormente se tendía a elaborar los techos de esta manera para así también garantizar una excelente climatización del lugar también uno de los detalles interesantes de este lugar es su hermoso piso que este es de cerámica con distintas formas, así como también posee distintos tipos de candelabros, característico también de estas edificaciones antiguas ya que en muchos lugares históricos como la catedral entre otras iglesias anteriormente en el siglo pasado se tenía a colocar estos tipos de candelabros.
Perhaps the ceiling is a fully carved wooden ceiling, made of oak, as ceilings were traditionally constructed in this way to ensure excellent temperature control within the building; another interesting feature of this place is its beautiful floor, which is made of ceramic tiles in various shapes, as well as various types of chandeliers, which are also characteristic of these old buildings, as in many historic sites such as the cathedral and other churches in the last century, it was customary to install these types of chandeliers.
Así como también en sus paredes principales justamente en el centro, podemos encontrar diversos tipos de restratos oras artísticas pintadas con pincel, a mano de artistas de nuestra ciudad, es lo que podemos observar pudas pinturas católicas como la imagen de nuestra señora de Chiquinquirá y también del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, ya que estaban en el marco de las obras Chiquinquireñas, haciendo referencia a los días patronales de la virgen de Chiquinquira, estaba totalmente fascinada, con toda la expresión artística de los distintos lienzos que se encontraban plasmados dentro de cada una de esas obras plásticas y artísticas sin duda algunas fantásticas rindiendo homenaje especial a nuestra madre del cielo, patrona de los zulianos la virgen de Chiquinquirá.
And on its main walls, right in the centre, we can find various types of portraits and artistic works painted by hand with a brush by artists from our city; we can see Catholic paintings such as the image of Our Lady of Chiquinquirá and also of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, as they were part of the Chiquinquirá works, referring to the patronal days of the Virgin of Chiquinquirá. I was completely fascinated, by all the artistic expression in the various canvases captured within each of these visual and artistic works—undoubtedly some fantastic ones—paying special homage to our Mother in Heaven, the patron saint of the people of Zulia: the Virgin of Chiquinquirá.
No mostraron el área de la sala donde se encuentran los baños desde este punto hay distintas fotografías de lo que ha sido el clero de Maracaibo a lo largo de los años cuando digo clero, refiero a los distintos sacerdotes que han pasado por cada una de las iglesias que conforman la arquidiócesis de Maracaibo, es decir, cada una de esas iglesias que forman parte de la iglesia de nuestra ciudad entre ellos, podemos ver imágenes importantes del monseñor Ubaldo Santana, quien fue nuestro obispo durante muchos años, así como también de otros insignes importantes que estuvieron anteriormente presentes frente a nuestra iglesia, así como también podemos ver retratos de algunos papas entre ellos, nuestro querido papa Francisco, incluyendo al obispo esta ciudad a quien le debemos el nombre de este museo y de su carretera de en frente.
They did not show the part of the hall where the toilets are; from this point onwards, there are various photographs depicting the clergy of Maracaibo over the years. When I say ‘clergy’, I am referring to the various priests who have served in each of the churches that make up the Archdiocese of Maracaibo; that is to say, each of those churches that form part of our city’s church. Among them, we can see important images of Monsignor Ubaldo Santana, who was our bishop for many years, as well as other distinguished figures who previously served our church. We can also see portraits of several popes, including our beloved Pope Francis, and the bishop of this city to whom we owe the name of this museum and the road in front of it.
En esta en esta área, la directora que nos permitió dar ese recorrido nos explicó varios elementos interesantes de la época en ese entonces plasmado, en unos cuadros, Maracaibo anteriormente tenía pocas carreteras, esta carretera representaban una única entrada y una única salida, es decir, por dónde entrabas tenían que salir pero a medida, que la ciudad se fue modernizando. Ciertamente esta infraestructura se fueron perdiendo modificando cada una de esas calles bien, en estos retratos fotográficos, podemos ver cómo vestían las personas de la época cabe destacar que la señora nos manifestó que aquellos jóvenes hasta los 16 años utilizaban el pantalón totalmente corto, haciendo referencia de que eran personas jóvenes cuando esto alcanzaban la mayoría de edad, utilizaban pantalón de vestir totalmente largo, cubriendo más allá de sus tobillos
In this area, the director who gave us the tour explained several interesting aspects of the period, which were depicted in a series of paintings. Maracaibo used to have very few roads; this road was the only entrance and the only exit in other words, you had to leave the city the same way you entered it but as the city modernised, certainly, this infrastructure was gradually lost as each of those streets was altered in these photographs, we can see how people dressed at the time. It is worth noting that the lady told us that young people up to the age of 16 wore very short trousers, pointing out that once they reached the age of majority, they wore full-length trousers, covering well beyond their ankles.
También nos explicaron el área de la cocina y nos dijeron que en esta en este sitio en particular se grabó una de las partes de la película de Bolívar, ya que se adaptaba perfectamente a la época colonial que querían expresar en la cinta ahora bien, podemos ver que la cocina anteriormente eran elaboradas completamente en ladrillo y esta poseían una chimenea que iba directamente hacia los techos, a pesar de que esta cocina ha sufrido ciertas modificaciones en el tiempo o adaptaciones conserva cierta esencia de cómo eran las cocinas antiguas anteriormente en nuestra ciudad, podemos ver el emarcado de distintas formas de la puerta así como también la estatua, del Obispo Lasso.
They also showed us the kitchen area and told us that a scene from the film about Bolívar was shot at this particular location, as it perfectly suited the colonial era they wanted to portray in the film. Now, we can see that kitchens used to be built entirely of brick and featured a chimney that led directly up to the roof; although this kitchen has undergone certain modifications or adaptations over time, it retains a certain essence of what old kitchens in our city used to be like; we can see the distinctive archways of the doorway as well as the statue of Bishop Lasso.
Algunas se sus hermosas ventanas del lado de adentro se abren estas poseen unos puntos, que permiten abrirlas ya que estas ventanas son totalmente anchas y largas, estas ventanas también permiten el paso de la luz por lo que permiten también mayor iluminación del lugar, el paso del sol, en el lugar podemos ver a la virgen de la Inmaculada Concepción, en este lugar hay muchas imágenes de alta calidad en acabado español.
Some of the beautiful windows on the inside open; they have hinges that allow them to be opened, as these windows are very wide and tall. They also let in light, thereby brightening the space and allowing sunlight to enter. Inside, we can see the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception; the space features many high-quality images with a Spanish-style finish.
Por último podemos encontrar un lugar especial que permite el paso de la luz del sol, en donde también están las placas del lugar con su fecha de inauguración, esto le da un toque increíble al lugar y también de mucha claridad como también de cierta naturaleza es hermosso ver como este lugar conversa gran parte de nuestra esencia como marabino, como edificaciones de antaño, seguiré en otra publicación dando a conocer cada uno de los detalles.
Finally, there is a special spot where sunlight streams through, featuring plaques marking the date of its opening; this adds an incredible touch to the place, bringing plenty of light and a sense of nature. It is wonderful to see how this place captures so much of our essence as Marabinos, much like the buildings of yesteryear. I will continue in another post to share all the details.
