There are lots of innovations in this beautiful planet we live in. Ranging from cars, phones, robots, the list knows no end as it stretches far and wide like an Imo state lady's bride price. LOl. just joking. But then, the list is long.
When contextualizing human innovations, i can't help it but think about the creator of copy - cut - paste command in a computer. That person saved not only software programmers, but also the world at large from the the stress of retyping stuffs.
Robots are gradually becoming part of the society. Who knows? maybe in the nearest future, we will peacefully coexists with robots that probably have their own consciousness.
A few months ago, I saw a video of a company that innovated a horse-like robot. I think the aim was to replace the traditional horse or something, but then, I was amazed. The product was really cool and it an addition to the fact that we can create anything. Also, I saw in a video that Microsoft created a new state of matter which was used to create the chip for quantum computers. The bragged that one of those chip could power the entire world. Welp, i dont know about that though.
Getting all these robots and computers to make the work easier and faster for us is really nice and amazing, but the big question here is; can we really control these things? What are the odds that these robots will not develop a mind of their own and probably stage a war against humans? I've seen presentations where AI did things that were not in their programme and it made me somewhat scared.
Robots are very helpful in many ways. I even used Chatgpt to learn the basics of coding and forex trading, but the truth is, if there is a robot that could do all my house chores for me while i lazy around or attend to other things, I would not purchase that robot.
No cap, i love robots. They are amazing innovations, but I can't actually feel comfortable with a robot around.
I'm not the type to allow somebody or something do things for me. I can allow collegues at work, but not when it comes to house chores or something related. i would prefer for a human, my wife (when i get married) to do my stuffs for me. Even when i was dating, I didn't allow my girlfriend to do any house chores for me, not even sweep my room. I dont actually know why i'm like that, but its just me.
Based on this, I would never buy a robot to do any house chores for me. I could buy a dish washer, micro wave, kettle, a fridge and other electrical appliance to make the work easier, but i will not want to be dependent on a robot to the extent of not having what to do.
