Hello, dear members of the community #wednesdaywalk initiated by :)
Today I have the pleasure to share my walk in several beautiful places around the Turkish city of Cesme, where I currently live.
My daughter gave me a present again - she rented an automatic car for me for four days. She knows how important it is for me to drive a car and always buys it with her own money. Unfortunately, we can't do this often because the rental costs $40 per day.
Therefore, having previously learned what are the good places around Çeşme, we decided to drive actively during these days and see several places in one day. The good thing is that all the beaches and the old village of Alacati, which I already wrote about in the previous post, are located at a distance of 12 - 14 km from Cesme.
So, we managed to see three new beaches that day. The first one, the name of which I do not remember, had very beautiful views from above. The road went down like a snake, visible as a brown ribbon among the green plants. The sea was rough that day and there was a lot of seaweed on the shore. This beach had a rocky bottom. The scenery was beautiful, but it was dangerous to swim here.
The next place we came to is Ilıca Plajı beach, a large space. White shallow sand, flawless bottom. A paradise for surfers. The wind of the Aegean Sea in October makes the weather cold, despite the fact that the air temperature is 22 degrees Celsius.
The sea is shallow for a long time. It is necessary to walk more than 50 meters to dive into the depths. Therefore, this beach is good for lovers of sand and hot summer :)
We swam, warmed up a little in the rays of the gentle sun, and after 5 p.m. it got cold :)
On this day, we had to return our car at 7 p.m. Therefore, we hurried to visit the third beach, to which we drove along a narrow country road, which could not fit two cars. But luckily there was no oncoming car, and we quickly reached Before Sunset Beach in Azmak Bay.
The tourist season is already over, and only the palm trees on the beach indicate that it was cozy and cool to rest here in the summer. We also read in the story about this beach that there are many interesting fish in the sea.
This post is written about where I am now. But I'll be back to telling my travel story, sequentially describing all the places I changed in my #TheLongestTrip
