You can find happiness here...
It was a normal day in the small Turkish town of Arslanbucak, where I spend most of my time on my trip, finding a cozy paradise here. But this day was special! Because the sun shone on our morning amidst the many days of heavy rain that often fall in the Antalya region in winter.
I looked out the window and saw this incredibly beautiful blue sky and rocky mountains against. It was so beautiful!
It was the day my eldest daughter was going to a Turkish lesson with a private teacher. And I dropped her off in my little rented KIA.
I had to pick her up in an hour. And now I had the opportunity to be alone. This is a very rare occurrence 😆 because the three of us are always together!
I turned on my favorite Turkish song "Ela gozlum" Hiraj Zerdus, which my daughters don't like to listen to when we drive together, and enjoyed life even more 😊
There is a place where I always turn my car around, right under the mountains. It is my favorite place. Here I especially feel the presence of these gigantic rocky giants, which seem to fill me with energy and happiness when I look at them!
There is a big maple tree here, rare in Turkey. And I love looking at the mountains through the orange leaves. They fall calmly, swirling and dancing in the wind, giving joy to my soul.
There were a few other interesting things here that people had made. I don't know who made them, but they were very cute. I enjoyed looking at them: a turquoise wooden horse with a pot of purple houseplant attached to it. And a bright, cheerful butterfly painted on a gray stone.
I drove home to take my youngest daughter for a walk. As I drove past my favorite places, I stopped to take pictures. Here is this mosque with a golden dome and a tall tower, which looks so beautiful against the sky and mountains. Truly the house of God, it looks so majestic!
This is a small, quiet town where people live in their two-story houses, surrounded by mountains, among orange groves. Life here is calm, without haste. Women drive strange three-wheeled small vehicles, covered with a film from the rain. They take their children to school and kindergarten, as well as to the market for groceries.
The town is full of contrasts. Because there are many luxurious expensive villas for tourists, as well as simple peasant houses with tractors parked next to them.
Here I am, driving up to my "Tebriz Apart", where we live. It's a very beautiful house, surrounded by a fence.
Inside there is a swimming pool, many beautiful flowering plants, and citrus trees. I can even pick fruits for myself, like in the Garden of Eden 😊
Our walk continues... Now we all went together to a cozy area of our town Arslanbucak, where there is a pine forest, and then luxurious orange tree gardens. I hope you enjoyed it with me!
