I hope you are all well, I am well, thank God, and finally with a break, to rest from some things, among them, just this fact, which I mentioned in my previous post, on my friend's birthday.

I was telling you that I had something that kept me very busy, and it was not the usual, which are my internships or thesis, but it was the 18th anniversary of my career, and it was taking place from March 19 to 21, so these three days were very stressful for me as the whole week, but at the same time full of success, because everything went very well thank God.

The anniversary of the UCLA Psychology program for me, as an almost graduate of here is very important, not only because it is to celebrate and commemorate the 18 years of creation of the program, being the second school of Psychology to open in a public university, but also to make a historical thread of what we have gone through, the obstacles overcome, of what we currently have and where we are going.

As a student, I have built an individual and group history, therefore, I do not limit myself to the fact that the program is the university, but those who make it up, and it will be good or bad, we depend on how we all contribute to it and the resources we have, therefore I have focused on doing, from various groups and student bodies as life itself and God has allowed me, as a delegate, the group organized in Psicología Unida and now from the Student Center.

As a student, I have been present in 3 anniversaries, in which I have actively participated in the last 2, in the 17th and 18th, being this last one, as an undergraduate student, planning since January, how it would be, what would be done and how we could remember it in the best possible way, this time integrating my class 18.

Since February I began to send planning letters to the council, which thank God were approved, being the most complicated thing to get was the space, since at the same time, there was a solemn act the same day of the anniversary, which was last March 19, but about two days of lectures for academic updating and knowledge in the areas of psychology.

After locating the place, thanks to God, which was in the auditorium of ASCARDIO, friends and allies very close to the psychology program of the university, it was possible to finalize the planning, especially for the 19th, and what would be done for that day.

The first thing consisted of a solemn act, where the authorities of the university would be invited as cordiality, of my Dean's Office, and of course the attendance of the direction of the career, and the professors and students. From there, we would begin with a brief historical review of the program, its inception and approval by the Ministry of Education, up to the present time.

This was followed by brief but very important words from the Dean of Humanities and Arts, and the direction of the Psychology program. Then we went on to a presentation of awards to outstanding teachers of the program, for their extensive experience and time in the program, which surprisingly many passed the 15 years of function in the program, and we are talking about that the career has 18 years.

To my surprise and that of my team, we also received special recognition from the program management, both for the united psychology group that has been under my management for 4 years, and from the Student Center. This really caught me off guard, and I would be lying if I knew what to say, other than thank you and that this recognition is for the entire team that has been accompanying me at all times.

After that, we moved on to an opening lecture by our promotion godmother, and professor of Clinical Psychology, Licda Daniela Contreras, on "From trauma to transformation: Mental health and the power of psychotherapy in neural networks" having the honor of opening our days of lectures with her topic.

To conclude, we thanked those present for attending this first important day to share together as a family, and we then moved on to a prepared snack that we had outside, and also a symbolic birthday cake for the program for its 18th anniversary.

I would say that everything was planned and yes, some things were added to the days, because the experience doing events has taught me that you don't have to be 100% rigid, but mostly yes. And thank God first of all everything went excellent.

Espero se encuentren muy bien, yo bien, gracias a Dios, y por fin con un respiro, para medianamente descansar de algunas cosas, entre ellas, justamente está hecho, que les mencioné en mi anterior post, en el cumpleaños de mi amiga.

Les comentaba que tenía algo que me tenía muy ocupado, y no era lo habitual que son mis pasantías o tesis, sino que era el aniversario número 18 de mi carrera, y estaba desarrollándose del 19 al 21 de marzo, así que estos tres días fueron muy estresantes para mí como toda la semana, pero a la vez lleno de mucho éxitos, porque todo salió muy bien gracias a Dios.

El aniversario del programa de Psicología UCLA para mí, como casi egresado de acá es muy importante, no solo porque es para celebrar y conmemorar los 18 años de creación del programa, siendo la segunda escuela de Psicología en abrirse en una universidad pública, sino también para hacer un hilo histórico de lo que hemos pasado, los obstáculos superados, de lo que actualmente tenemos y hacia dónde vamos.

Cómo estudiante, he construido una historia individual y grupal, por ende, no me limito a que el programa es la universidad, sino quienes lo conformamos, y será bien o mal, dependemos de cómo todos contribuyamos en eso y los recursos que tengamos, por ende me he centrado en hacer, desde varios grupos y entes estudiantiles a medida que la vida misma y Dios me lo han permitido, como delegado, el grupo organizado en Psicología Unida y ahora desde el Centro de Estudiantes.

Cómo estudiante, he estado presente en 3 aniversarios, en los cuales he participado activamente en los 2 últimos, en los 17 y 18, siendo este último, como estudiante de pregrado, planificando desde enero, de cómo sería, que se haría y cómo podríamos recordarlo de la mejor manera posible, está vez integrando mi promoción 18.

Desde febrero comencé a enviar cartas de planificaciones a consejo, que gracias a Dios fueron aprobadas, siendo lo más complicado de conseguir fue el espacio, ya que a la vez, se tenía un acto solemne el mismo día del aniversario, que fue el pasado día 19 de Marzo, sino unos dos días de ponencia para la actualización académica y de conocimiento en las áreas de la Psicología.

Ya después ubicado el lugar gracias a Dios, que fue en el auditorio de ASCARDIO, amigos y aliados muy cercanos al programa de psicología de la universidad, se pudo concretar para finiquitar la planificación, sobre todo para el 19, y de lo que se haría para ese día.

Lo primero consistía en un acto solemne, en donde se invitaría a la autoridades de la universidad como cordialidad, de mi Decanato, y por supuesto la asistencia de la dirección de la carrera, y a profesores y estudiantes. De allí, se pasaría al comienzo, de una breve reseña histórica de lo que es el programa, su inicio y aprobación en el ministerio de educación, hasta la actualidad.

Le siguieron unas breves pero muy importantes palabras de parte de la Decana de Humanidades y Artes, y la dirección del programa de Psicología. Para luego pasar a una entrega de reconocimientos a destacados docentes del programa, por su amplia trayectoria y tiempo dentro, que sorprendente muchos pasaban los 15 años de función en el programa, y estamos hablando de que la carrera tiene 18 años.

Para mi sorpresa y de mi equipo, también recibimos un reconocimiento especial, de parte de la dirección de programa, tanto para el grupo de psicología unida que ha estado bajo mi gestión durante 4 años, y del Centro de Estudiante. De verdad esto me tomó desprevenido, y les mentiría si supe que decir, más allá de las gracias y que esté reconocimiento es para todo el equipo que me ha estado acompañando en todo momento.

Después de allí, pasamos a una ponencia de apertura a cargo de nuestra madrina de promoción, y profesora de la carrera en Psicología Clínica, la Licda Daniela Contreras, sobre “Del trauma a la transformación: Salud mental y el poder de la psicoterapia en las redes neuronales” teniendo el honor de aperturar nuestros días de ponencia con su tema.

Para finalizar, agradecimos a los presentes por asistir este primer día tan importante para compartir en conjunto como familia, y que pasamos entonces a un refrigerio preparado que teníamos afuera, y además de una simbólica torta de cumpleaños para el programa por su 18 aniversario.

Diría que todo estaba planificado y si, algunas cosas se añadieron a los días, porque la experiencia haciendo eventos me ha enseñado de que no hay que ser 100% rígidos, pero en su mayoría si. Y gracias a Dios primeramente todo salió excelente.
