Uno de los regalos más bellos que nos da la vida es la relación con los niños, ya que estos, en la mayoría de las ocasiones, literalmente nos roban el corazón y son una alegría en nuestra existencia, alegría que se nutre con su presencia, sus juegos y sus ocurrencias.

Yo no tengo hijos, pero he tenido compañeras que tienen sus hijos y uno termina siempre enamorado de la madre y de los niños y, de hecho, ellos se convierten en una parte importante de nuestra vida, así como uno en la vida de ellos, y son una verdadera familia.

A mí me pasó con Ana María, la hija de una pareja que tuve hace muchos años. Recuerdo la cara de felicidad que ella tenía cuando la acompañé a la escuela; la llevaba agarrada de la mano, se sentía muy cómoda y orgullosa, y recuerdo su rostro de felicidad cuando me despedía de ella. Le di la bendición y le di un beso en la frente; sentía su alegría infantil y la seguridad que ese gesto de mi parte le transmitía.

Sí es cierto que su madre y yo nos separamos por situaciones personales; también es cierto que hasta ahora siempre me he mantenido en contacto con los niños, bueno, ya son un hombre y una mujer, y siempre pude apoyarlos tanto en lo afectivo como en lo económico, por lo menos hasta la época de Maduro, que viene la gran debacle económica.

Hoy en día, Ana María y Arturo están con su mamá y sus abuelos en las Islas Canarias, y seguimos en contacto; de hecho, hace poco hablamos por una llamada de Telegram y la hija de Arturo me señaló y le dijo a su papá: “Mira, el abuelo oso tiene barba”, y después de las risas tuvimos una larga conversación.

Lo hermoso de la vida es que te permite compartir este tipo de experiencias, crear tu familia y construir y ser parte de un entorno, que se hace muy rico cuando los niños crecen y traen al mundo las nuevas generaciones.

One of the most beautiful gifts that life gives us is the relationship with children, since these, on most occasions, literally steal our hearts and are a joy in our existence, a joy that is nourished by their presence, their games and their occurrences.

I don't have children, but I have had companions who have their children and one always ends up in love with the mother and the children and, in fact, they become an important part of our life, as well as one in their life, and they are a real family.

It happened to me with Ana María, the daughter of a couple I had many years ago. I remember the happy face she had when I accompanied her to school; I was holding her hand, she felt very comfortable and proud, and I remember her happy face when I said goodbye to her. I gave him the blessing and kissed him on the forehead; I felt his childish joy and the security that this gesture on my part transmitted to him.

It is true that his mother and I separated due to personal situations; it is also true that until now I have always kept in touch with the children, well, they are already a man and a woman, and I was always able to support them both emotionally and economically, at least until the time of Maduro, when the great economic debacle is coming.

Nowadays, Ana María and Arturo are with their mom and their grandparents in the Canary Islands, and we are still in contact; in fact, we recently talked on a Telegram call and Arturo's daughter pointed at me and said to her dad: "Look, Grandpa bear has a beard”, and after the laughs we had a long conversation.

The beautiful thing about life is that it allows you to share these kinds of experiences, create your family and build and be part of an environment, which becomes very rich when children grow up and bring the new generations into the world.
