As you may have noticed, in the last few days, I have slowed down a bit with the publication of my posts; Don't worry, you won't see me disappear!
I simply took breaks because I was busy with other things!
As per the title, you can understand that this will be a post with many images, as well as being an update of the work carried out in the garden.
On Monday I didn't publish anything because I spent the entire afternoon in front of the barbecue and the evening with lifelong friends; we ate, we watched the game and our children went wild running here and there in the garden.
Samuele actually passed from the arms of an uncle to those of an aunt since he doesn't run yet, but it's worth the same!
Naturally, our little pest is also a passionate Italy fan and, in addition to having the right t-shirt, he rejoiced together with his dad at the goal that took us to the round of 16 of the European Championship... In a completely unexpected way, I would also add!
We spent some wonderful hours, it had been a long time since we had all been able to get together; consider that there were more than twenty of us between adults and children, some friends live in the USA, others in Reggio Emilia, in short, being able to all find ourselves in the same place and on the same days is always a great feat!
Of course, before this big event, I spent the weekend finishing up the cleaning in the garden.
I'll let you know straight away that, for this season, the works are finished; the only thing I will do, wallet permitting, is get a nice soccer goal to put in the basket area and also a new umbrella.
The time has come to enjoy the fruits of our labor!
For next summer I have set myself the goal of making sofas with pallet platforms and fixing, or perhaps replacing, the swing.
The "building" works, if we can call them that, have been completed so, during this winter, we will see about carrying out the works and modifications in the internal part of our home.
I promised Reny that we will move the kitchen to the ground floor and add a bathroom... Every promise is a debt and then it is a beautiful gift that I want to give to my Wife and to our entire Family!
I'll start now with a series of photos of the current conditions of the external part of our house.
Here you can see the Gazebo, apart from a thorough cleaning and the replacement of all the bulbs that illuminate this space not much has been done; We'll probably think about a new curtain system next year but we don't need much else.
This is the entrance to "Marley's Garden", in addition to the well there is the basket and I intend to add the football goal, the darts and the table football; I want to put all the toys in this area because that way, when Samuele uses them, Marley will always be there watching him and playing with him, which he has always done since he was born.
Let's now move on to the tree-lined area, not much has been done other than fixing the synthetic grass surface well with cement and then, of course, a nice thorough cleaning.
Here you can see the completed tool shed, we will probably give it a touch of color in the next few days.
No changes were made to the pool area either, I just did a really good cleaning...
...And replaced the classic light bulbs with these beautiful colored light bulbs!
To conclude you can see the garden completely cleaned up, I have finished the irrigation system, at the moment I continue to give water to our vegetables in "manual" mode but I think that in the next few days I will connect the new part of the system built in this area to the existing one so that we can make everything automatic and above all timed... All our plants with the heat of this period necessarily need water at least twice a day... Look at the beautiful tomatoes that are coming up!
Well, for today too I have come to the conclusion; I like to let the images speak every now and then, each photo tells a moment and a place and then leaves room for the imagination.

Come hai potuto notare, negli ultimi giorni, ho rallentato un po' con la pubblicazione dei miei post; sta tranquillo non mi vedrai scomparire!
Mi sono semplicemente preso delle pause poiché in altre faccende affaccendato!
Come da titolo, puoi capire che questo sarà un post con tante immagini, oltre a essere un aggiornamento dei lavori svolti nel giardino.
Lunedì non ho pubblicato nulla poiché ho passato l'intero pomeriggio davanti al barbecue e la serata insieme agli amici di una vita; abbiamo mangiato, abbiamo guardato la partita e i nostri bambini si sono scatenati correndo un po' qua e un po' là in giardino.
Samuele in realtà è passato dalle braccia di uno zio a quelle di una zia visto che ancora non corre, ma vale lo stesso!
Naturalmente anche la Nostra Piccola peste è un tifoso appassionato dell'Italia e, oltre ad avere la maglietta adatta, ha esultato insieme al suo papà al goal che ci ha portato agli ottavi di finale dell'Europeo... In maniera del tutto inaspettata, aggiungerei anche!
Abbiamo trascorso delle ore bellissime, era davvero da tanto tempo che non riuscivamo a riunirci tutti; considera che tra adulti e bambini eravamo più di venti, alcuni amici vivono negli USA, altri a Reggio Emilia, insomma per riuscire a trovarci tutti nello stesso posto e negli stessi giorni è sempre una grande impresa!
Ovviamente, prima di questo grande evento, ho trascorso il fine settimana a ultimare le pulizie in giardino.
Ti anticipo subito che, per questa stagione, i lavori sono terminati; l'unica cosa che farò, portafogli permettendo, è prendere una bella porta da calcio da mettere nella zona del canestro e anche un nuovo ombrellone.
E' arrivato il momento di godere dei frutti del nostro lavoro!
Per la prossima estate mi sono posto come obiettivo di realizzare i divanetti con le pedane di pallet e di sistemare, o magari sostituire, il dondolo.
I lavori "edilizi", se così possiamo chiamarli, sono stati ultimati quindi, durante questo inverno, vedremo di realizzare le opere e le modifiche nella parte interna della nostra abitazione.
Ho promesso a Reny che porteremo la cucina al piano terra e aggiungeremo un bagno... Ogni promessa è debito e poi è un bel regalo che desidero fare a mia Moglie e a tutta la nostra Famiglia!
Parto ora con una carrellata di foto delle attuali condizioni della parte esterna della nostra casa.
Qui puoi vedere il Gazebo, a parte una pulizia approfondita e la sostituzione di tutte le lampadine che illuminano questo spazio non è stato fatto molto; probabilmente l'anno prossimo penseremo a un nuovo sistema di tende ma non serve molto altro.
Questa invece è l'entrata del "Giardino di Marley", oltre al Pozzo c'è il canestro e ho intenzione di aggiungere la porta da calcio, le freccette e il biliardino; desidero mettere tutti i giochi in questa zona perché così, quando Samuele li utilizzerà, ci sarà sempre Marley a guardarlo e a giocare insieme a Lui, cosa che comunque fa sempre da quando è nato.
Passiamo ora alla zona alberata, non è stato fatto molto se non fissare bene il manto di erba sintetica con del cemento e poi, naturalmente, una bella pulizia approfondita.
Qui invece puoi vedere il capanno degli attrezzi ultimato, probabilmente nei prossimi giorni gli daremo un tocco di colore.
Anche nella zona della piscina non sono state fatte modifiche, ho solo fatto una gran bella pulizia...
...E sostituito le lampadine classiche con queste belle lampadine colorate!
Per concludere puoi vedere l'orto completamente ripulito, ho provveduto a rifinire l'impianto di irrigazione, al momento continuo a dare acqua ai nostri ortaggi in modalità "manuale" ma credo che nei prossimi giorni collegherò la nuova parte di impianto costruita in questa zona a quella esistente in modo da poter rendere tutto automatico e soprattutto temporizzato... Tutte le nostre piante col caldo di questo periodo hanno necessariamente bisogno di acqua almeno due volte al giorno... Guarda che bei pomodori che stanno venendo su!
Bene, anche per oggi sono giunto alla conclusione; mi piace ogni tanto lasciar parlare le immagini, ogni foto racconta un momento e un luogo e poi lascia spazio all'immaginazione.
