On this short occasion, I would like to share about the moment of togetherness in a tradition, custom, and culture that has taken root. Although now starting to fade. Pray together where you read the Qur'an in a group by continuously linking the verses. Also use the rhythm according to their respective abilities.
Reading the Qur'an like this can be held in places where kenduri events or other Islamic celebration days are held. Usually they are specially invited to events like this. Their readings are also undeniable from the level of eloquence and beauty of the rhythm.
All needs and requirements in the implementation of this event are borne by the event organizer. These include food and drink and all other necessities. They came all ready with what they needed.
The most special drink to make their voices last a long time in reciting the Qur'an with a high voice and a beautiful rhythm. The drink is young coconut water mixed with a few drops of lime. They all believe in the properties of young coconut and lime.
Without an audience, it's not like an event. While watching and listening to the chanting of the holy verses of the Qur'an, the spectators who watched did not forget to capture this special moment. With their cellphone cameras in their hands, they took photos or took videos of this moment.
Children also enjoy this event, but it is questionable whether they like crowds or want to see and listen to it. Moreover, when they are in the photo they are very happy and excited. It doesn't matter what they do it's also a child. As long as it does not cause problems that interfere with the implementation of the event.
