El tío Chilín (no me pregunten por qué lo llamaban así), era el dueño del campo donde mi padre se estableció con su familia, plagados de sueños, que nunca tuve la oportunidad de preguntarle si cumplió algunos. Este tío, era esposo de una hermana de mamá y vivían en la ciudad de Goya, Corrientes. Y cuando venimos a Goya, para establecernos, recuerdo haberlo visitado. Estando charlando con él, en su huerta, donde plantaba lechuga, cebollas y más verduras para el consumo particular, me dijo: Estudia un oficio, lo que sea, pero que sea un oficio. Cuando alguien precise resolver un problema relacionado con tu oficio, seguro te buscarán. No sé por qué, esa frase quedo en mí para siempre. Hoy a la distancia puedo imaginar que se refería a mi padre, que solo era changarín de campo (persona que trabaja por el jornal, en el campo) o quizás fue un destello de consciencia, que me hizo reflexionar, dándole la razón al tío. Solo sé, que de lo poco o mucho que sé de electricidad, me sirvió para acudir al llamado de mi princesa.

Today, from a distance, I can imagine that he was referring to my father, who was only a changarín de campo (a person who works for a day's wage in the fields) or maybe it was a flash of conscience that made me reflect, giving the reason to my uncle. I only know that the little or much I know about electricity, helped me to answer the call of my princess.
Salir a rodar en bicicleta lleva su debido tiempo y si bien como creador de contenidos, llevo mi celular y también la GoPro, lo hago para generar capturas, pero no para atender llamadas. En una de estas salidas, venía rodando realizando los últimos kilómetros, con la compañía de Alejandro, quien se percata de que mi celular estaba sonando. Normalmente, nunca atiendo en la ruta, pero ante la insistencia atine a atender y me percate, de que era una videollamada y para aumentar mi sorpresa, era mi hija mayor Ashley. Ella es de muy poco llamarme y mucho menos a través de videollamada. Reconozco que entre en pánico, como padres me sabrán entender. Uno siempre piensa que algo paso y se preocupa en demasía.

Una vez aterrizado al lugar para degustar una rica cerveza, bien merecida por cierto, es que le envió una nota de voz, para que me cuente el motivo de su sorpresivo llamado. El tema es así papá, hace mucho calor y estando cocinando (ella realiza tortas caseras para vender), se fue la electricidad. Seguramente había baja tensión y yo conecte muchos aparatos, además del aire. Me animo a desarmar e intentar arreglar y creo que la complique más. ¿Puedes venir pa? Estamos sin electricidad, no puedo cocinar y además hace mucho calor. Llego a casa y luego voy hija...

We are without electricity, I can't cook and it's too hot. I get home and then I go daughter ....
Llego a casa muy cansado, con cero ganas de ir, pero ante la mirada sigilosa de Zuni 😄, fuimos ambos a intentar solucionar el tema. De ahí la introducción del mensaje del tío Chilín, sobre aprender un oficio. Soy técnico electromecánico con orientación en electricidad, pero nunca trabaje en eso. Tampoco me intereso trabajar en eso, dado que le tengo mucho respeto (miedo) a la electricidad. Siempre me desenvolví vendiendo, en atención al cliente. No sé si me gusta, pero me sale muy bien. Se preguntarán ¿por qué mi hija, me llama, si nunca trabaje de eso? Es que cuando el proyecto es desde cero, me animo a realizarlo y mi casa particular, toda la instalación eléctrica, lo hice yo y es por eso que Ashley no dudo en llamarme, aparte de querer ahorrarse unos mangos 😁. Fui con todo el temor, a no entender circuitos hechos por otros. Y así fue, traspire la gota gorda, pero por suerte pude solucionar el problema de mi princesa.
Moraleja de la cuestión, el conocimiento no ocupa espacio y más allá de que no nos guste, en alguna ocasión nos servirá.
