I was feeling really privileged to be in front of the Almighty himself. It was indeed one of my most peaceful and tranquil experience of being in front of Kashi Vishwanath Temple. As I was about to get inside this mighty temple, a part of me started to be peaceful with each passing step.
Here I was in Kashi Vishwanath Koli door with my grandparents, and it was really a privilege for me to be here with my grandparents. I was considering myself really lucky to be one of the few people who are lucky enough to visit this temple with their loved grandparents.
From Kashi Vishwanath corridor that is near to Manikarnika Ghat, there is a cheap climb of about 50 steps up to the entrance of the temple. As I was with my grandparents, so I was prepared to hold their hands and help them climb all these chairs as there was no option of any lift. Sun was shining bright, and it was the best day you could have ever imagined.
In this photograph, you can see all the steps that we needed to climb, just to get to the entrance of the temple. We slowly started to walk on the steps. I held hand of my grandma while my grandfather was taking support of the side railing.
I didnโt take out my phone while I was helping them to climb the stairs. It almost took us around 7 to 10 minutes to climb these chairs, and after the successful climb, it was time for the well deserved rest for my grandparents.
In the photograph below, you can see them taking a little bit of rest and catching their breasts. After hard climb of all the stairs, they were happy to be on top and it was like they were really proud of themselves.
We sat there for about 15 minutes. It was very peaceful just sitting outside this temple. Looking at the people roaming around in Ghats. Burning dead bodies in Manikarnika Ghats and the holy sounds that were coming from inside of the temple.
As we moved inside of the temple, the sun was now in front of us. It was shining as bright as it could ever be, and it motivated us to reach to the temple faster as it added a very dramatic vibe to the overall atmosphere that was already very peaceful and spiritual.
This temple complex was recently renovated and redesigned by honourable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Government. I was really happy to see the development that was taking place in the small city while I was in my tour.
Now, beyond this point, we need to deposit our shoes as well as our mobile phones because they were not allowed inside of the temple premises. We found one shop that was keeping both the mobile phones as well as shoes at nominal charges. So I deposited all our mobiles and kept our shoes inside of the shop before moving towards the temple. Below photograph is the last photograph that you can see of my grandfather and grandmother slowly moving towards the temple while I was about to deposit my mobile phone.
Experienced spiritual peaceโ
In the photograph below, you can see me as I came out of the temple after spending about 45 to 50 minutes inside of the temple premises. We visited Kashi Vishwanath Temple as well as Annapurna Temple inside of the temple, premises.
What I felt inside is not explainable in words. The rosary or mala that I am wearing in the photographs below, I got it from the priest that was worshipping the shiling of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. This Mala was offered to the Sivalingam and was given to me as Prasada. I was feeling really lucky to get this as it was for a moment touched with the holy Shivling.
This is a selfie that we took when we came out of the temple. My grandparents were super excited and super happy as they came out of the temple. After doing the Darshan, we were very lucky that we got to stay there for this long.
The kind of peace that I felt there was incomparable to anything that I have felt before. It was very unique experience for me, and I was already feeling really connected to the universe while I was inside of the temple premises.
I highly recommend everyone to visit this place once in lifetime as itโs a place which is different from all the other places of the world. This place has a vibe of its own that is unmatched to anything else in the world.
We collected our mobile phones and more shoes because we had to get back to the Kashi Vishwanath ko Dedo and Sheetla Ghat because our boat would come there in a couple of hours to pick us up and drop us back to the Namo Ghat from where we would get back to the train, we were travelling in to discover other cites next day.
From here, I visited several hearts on foot alone and I kept my grandparents in a comfortable place here only so that I could explore. I will be writing about my explorations in next blogs. So stay tuned. I know I got really late to post this blog. this is because recent project came up to me, and I had to work really hard to close it.
Iโll try to be more consistent from now and post every day.
Thanks for always supporting me and for all the love on my blogs. It really means a lot to me.
