Shepherdâs Camp at the mountain topâ
So after a long and tiring hike of about three hours, we reached this place where a Shepherd was living with bare minimum requirement that a human can survive in. It looks like a perfect life, living in the middle of nowhere away from all the hustle and bustle of the daily life that modern times has to offer but in reality, it comes with its own challenges.
The list of challenges that one can face here is going to be a long one, as we are nowadays used to in living our life in most comfortable ways that our ancestors didnât had privilege to live. Even the richest of the richest people before 300 years, but not able to live life as comfortably as even the poor people live in nowadays time.
Living here in this camp means living life of a person about 300 years back without any modern equipments and without any proper accommodation.
The Shepherd had made his camp in a perfect spot because two most important things that are required for living are found nearby, including water and firewood. This camp is made in perfect spot, which is really close to the forest as well as the grassland which makes him easier to navigate and see at a huge distance so that he can monitor his sheep grazing deep in the grassland or in the forest also.
At the time we arrived there, he was not present inside his camp, but the burning wood outside his signified that he still lives there, and he must have gone somewhere in the forest or update the mountain with his sheep for a regular day of work.
We also kept on walking as we wanted to get on top of this grassland like structure. There were no trees beyond this point as we were now at about 3800 m from sea level.
It looked like clouds were touching the top of the mountain, and we were now at the height same as the clouds it looked quite near, but in real, it was quite far as there was nothing to scale beyond this point, and there was no sense of reference because of the lack of trees on the mountain .
The best place to camp in upper valleyâ
We are now moving along the lines of the forest, and we came across this amazing campsite that was right in front of our eyes. This campsite was situated Deep at the bottom of the grassland, and at the very beginning of the forest, so it was at a perfect spot.
It was very safe as well from all the weather disturbances such as wind and heavy rain that straightaway Hit the top of the mountain. The winds at this point of the mountain were significantly less impacting because of the presence of tall trees right in front of us, and also the tall mountain protecting us from behind, because of that reason, they were several people living there.
We saw a couple of tents pitched there, but they were no people around. They must have gone somewhere on top of the mountain where we also were headed to the journey which started as a a random exploration of The Mountain turned out to be a journey that we will remember forever.
Huge mountain peaks for visible from this spot, and it was indeed the perfect spot as the water and firewood was in really convenient distance from this place. This place also offered some of the best spelling bushes that had ever seen in my life. I didnât know what kind of fragrance was in the air, but there was something really unique about this place that I didnât had seen or felt at any other campsite.
Just look at the photographs below and tell me in the comments that what else does a person wants in a campsite? Just look at the below photographs and you will realise yourself that how beautiful and perfect. This spot was the view of whole Valley was right in front of your eyes and wood was right accessible from The forest.
We didnât stop here as we wanted to reach on top of the mountain, so we kept moving, and as we moved, the camp, started to become smaller and smaller. Next blog is going to be really special as in the next blog. You will see me and my brother climbing on top of this mountain. I think thatâs all for todayâs blog and I will be back with another blog tomorrow, so stay tuned.
Peace âŽď¸
