There has being a lot of development recently in the Leofinance community, from threads to the creation of new UI for the community, just as all this development is making life and activities easy in the community, the Leofinance team shows up with another fantastic one called polls(I called it The Leo Survey)
This is definitely the newest update in the community so far and thanks to #leo&hodl contest for turning their attention to this section too, there is definitely a lot to look at when it comes to the new Initiative, especially from how valuable this initiative will help in the development of the community.
Polls
In a lame man language, it's definitely the process of getting one's opinion or votes, that is definitely what the community as brought to us, giving room for user's to have answers to questions they can't ask in other sections(AMA)
What are the current and potential benefits of polls to our ecosystem?
Just as important has banks and organizations surveys are, so are polls on Leofinance community too, it Introduction to me as indeed added lot of advantages to the community by creating answer's to a lot of unanswered questions in the community, it as indeed helps users to ask for community opinion on various things that as look difficult for them in the past.
Today, polls to me as indeed stand as another ama section in the community, by creating an avenue for the community team to seek user's opinion on various things using polls too.
Various users are honestly using this initiative to find answers to a lot of things and even communities are using it as a means of voting #contest too from their community
How to reach more crypto people to use polls on a regular basis?
Just as threads is reaching out to the world at large today, having the polls do the same thing is significant too, generating more awareness on this will definitely help to advertise this initiative to the world at large.
I sincerely think sharing content about polls on social media will absolutely help , just as the #hodlcontest is doing, raising more awareness about it use and Importance on social media will bring more individuals' attention too.
What should be done to level up the experience of Polls?
There are definitely lot of things to do in making better experience from it and for a while, I kept on asking myself that;
Can polls be gamified?
Where questions will be asked, with options inputted in the four sections of the polls.
Having something like this with a certain prize attached to it will certainly help , that will also increase user's experience about it, having such methods will also open users's understanding to the fact that polls can be used for a lot of things.
How to integrate polls to other communities of Hive?
Extending this initiative to other communities will absolutely make more sense, recently have seen the #ladiesofhive community using it to rate the best content writer for the week, which as indeed shows how important this will definitely go, but can all communities front-end have this or can other communities partner with the Leofinance community?, doing this will definitely help the Initiative go a long way too.
Compare the polls on other platforms with examples.
Have seen different organizations using this initiative, though they might call it survey, but all still serve the same functions, getting users's feedback on some certain questions or updates is all what this is all about, even twitter too has something like this and honestly base on what have seen there is no difference and it as indeed served same purpose by giving feedbacks on questions asked via it.
Discuss the easiness / difficulty of polls on Alpha Leo
Have not really come across any difficulties with this initiative yet, as I'm still exploring to see all its weaknesses for now, but for me, I will absolutely say it as indeed being so easy because it is definitely doing Justice to its purpose by allowing users to give their opinion on some certain things and allowing users too to make some crypto decisions too.
Create a step-by-step guide for new lions and enrich with your suggestions
I will be giving the fastest way to access polls on the new UI because that is the only way you can get to use it via hive keychain, which means you must have downloaded hive *keychain" on Google Play Store or Apple Store with on your Leofinance details filled already.
1- Log on into your hive keychain
2- click on threads (like you want to make a thread post)
3- The last icon in the threads section is meant for polls (their are four options in every poll)
4-- After inputting your options, click on add polls
In making polls it is significant that you know that, you would have written what you are about to ask the community opinion about after which you will input your options in the four polls section before posting.
There are definitely a lot of contents in which authors have explained in details about how to make use of polls.
There is absolutely more to come on polls and I won't be surprised to see the Leofinance team having the polls ama section very soon too.
