Right before starting to write this post, I checked Hive users' rankings at HiveBuzz, just to see how much HivePower I have to accumulate to get to that Orca rank... For those that are not familiar, I have created a personal goal at the beginning of this year to try to reach ORCA rank at the end of 2022... At the moment when I was checking it, it was around 54K HivePower, but when I checked just a few minutes ago, I saw that it went up to over 55K (it's a calculation based on VESTS, and that's why the number is changing)!
Anyways, I will not quit on my goal because of that... I knew before that it's not a fixed number and the goal itself was more like a dream, or aspiration... :) So, adding 1K on the top will not make a big difference...

On the other side, it was kind of a cold shower to see the higher number and I suppose that's because of "changed winds"... As I said before, at the beginning of the year, it was more like a direction where I would like to go, but it was more of an "unreachable" goal... As time was passing by, I was narrowing the gap between my current HP and the goal, and I made much bigger progress than I thought! The hope was born...
As I'm doing my regular #MyHiveGoals posts, I have a reminder about the number from January... and the number of HivePower back than says 29290, which means that I have accumulated almost 14K this year! With today's power-up, I need another 12K in the next 4 months to reach my ORCA goal... I have passed the half amount this year, now it's time to change the gear up!
I know it's a huge number, but when it is going down month by month and my goal looks closer than ever, it's natural to have some hopes!
Is there a better day for powering up your liquid Hive than the first day of the month? When we celebrate the Hive Power Up Day! Still going strong with my 1K power-ups for multiple months in a row! Will I succeed to do it like this until the end of the year?

Just a short introduction to HivePUD... What does it mean at all? #HivePUD is shortened for the Hive Power Up Day. It's an event when Hive members power up their liquid HIVE and stop any active PowerDown! It is organized by great fellow Hivians
