(P.S: The design or images I have used here are my original work, so I would really appreciate your comments about them)
Hello, everyone remember me!! I am Philip the Freelance Designer from Dhaka, Bangladesh.I am writing this post to share my experience of being with you for a week. So here is how it was for me:
Time goes on so first. It feels like just one day ago I saw in my email that my account has been approved and yesterday I wrote my first post. But actually it has been a week that I have joined in Steemit.
My first week in Steemit was hyperactive. I was so thrilled that I wanted to make as many post as I can. I barely could focus on my work and I was thinking what to write during the whole last week. Even until this morning I am fighting off my addiction to Steemit.I don’t know if any of you ever had the same feelings like me.
Highlights on my last week’s activities
So this is how I felt about being here for a week. Now let’s see what I have done so far in here.
My last week in Steemit was hyper active. It was a good, exciting and successful week for me. During this whole week I have made 8 posts, received 21 upvotes and 20-25 comments in total. I also had some growth in my reputation. I started with a reputation of 25 and now it is 27.
I don’t know how you feel about it. I think it is a pretty big deal for me. So I had a lot of achievements during this week. But actually I haven’t talked about my real achievement yet. The thing about which I felt most happy is to have someone like @brittandjosie.I can’t really explain how much her support meant to me.
There are times when I started to feel like I should give up. Nobody reads my stuffs or notice me. But then I saw her commenting on my articles and helping me out with her well-considered suggestions. During the whole week she was mentoring, motivating and supporting.
Out of everything she was my real achievement. I would like to specially thank her for all the supports and motivation she gave me. I don’t know her personally but I try to read as much as I can about her. I carefully read each and everything she post in here. I can undoubtedly tell that she is a good person.
Sorry, that I got a bit carried away by emotion while trying to mention her. Although, she mean to me a lot still the rest of your support wasn’t any less either.
I would like to thank all of you who read my post, commented on my articles, voted for me and followed me. Your support and motivation kept me going so far in my journey of here.
What is my next goal?
Although, I started with a good intention, but at the end I became focused to some shortcut road to success. As a result,
I have seen that the rate I used to gain followers before has significantly declined. I started my journey here with 67 followers. Then, I used to get 20-25 followers in average per post. But for the last few posts I have received 0-4 followers. Many people have also stopped following me.
I want to say sorry for disappointing them. No, I won’t go after the fame or short term success anymore, rather I have decided to focus on creating more helpful and interesting contents.
During this whole week, I have created 3 articles, 2 jokes, 2 designs and 1 free token related post. Here are the links to those posts. You may take a look if you want.
