Greetings, Steemians! I hope y'all are having a good day. It's a mellow try-and-catch-up-on-things kind of day here in the Velitas household.
I mentioned in my Actifit log yesterday getting steps from going back and forth with dishes to the bathroom sink, because the kitchen sink is clogged, so here are the dishes I had soaking overnight and scrubbed out this morning, lol. I filled the dishwasher this way (you have to pre-scrub everything or it doesn't come clean here). Hopefully the maintenance guy will be here soon.
My treat to myself, a giant size Filbert paintbrush that I got a hella good deal on (under $5 spent!) came this week, and makes me happy. It will make painting the idea I have for my biggest canvas a lot easier.
It's a size 70!
If any of you needleworkers ever wondered if cat hair would felt, the answer is yes. It will also pill. This is what came out of the washing machine when I washed a quilt that was just COVERED with cat hair:

I made chocolate chip cookies, using my new favorite method: twice the chocolate chips, and all brown sugar instead of half brown and half white. They are so good. I may or may not have eaten several cookies' worth of raw dough before baking...
Ran and got some groceries at Sprouts yesterday, and my coupon game was on point. I love when I get good deals. I even had what couponers call a "moneymaker," that is, I got an item free AND cash back (50¢, in this case). ibotta FTW!
Last night I did a bit of hand sewing repair work. At least that's one less item in my mending pile! Woo! This and a bit of work on my Blanket I'll Be Knitting 'Til I Die is my #needleworkmonday for the week, because that's all the crafting I accomplished. :)
