Una honra perpetua
a desalambrar escalinatas en Propatria
con el Uruguayo Cantor Daniel Viglietti,
entre conversas y cantos, interactuando experiencias comunes
de la Patria Grande, con agrupaciones culturales.
Destaco la experiencia más genuina y comprometida,
en compartir caminos y tarimas, con el Padre Cantor Alí Primera,
en la Ciudad Capital, aupando letras que valoran
la cultura y la justicia,
con música cargadas de tradiciones de la américa latina y el caribe.
Estar con Silvio Rodríguez, Sara González y Virulo en reunión de amigos y amigas, en Caracas, donde el piso son los asientos,
los chistes a la orden de la noche,
entre brindis, pasa palos, una buena salsa para bailar
y el canto recurrente y necesario, nos acerca más al compromiso,
en proyectar nuestro arte.
Estar al lado y cantar con el Tenor de América, Alfredo Sadel,
en un evento comprometido con la solidaridad
por la victoria del pueblo del Salvador, en el Nuevo Circo de Caracas,
cantando el himno de la Internacional Comunista,
estuvo cargado de emociones.
Hacerle coro a la cantora Lilia Vera en su disco de Aguinaldos, Gaitas y Parrandas, es para mí
orgullo sin palabras y además acompañarla en algunos eventos universitarios, marcan mi
andar y recuerdos latentes.
Sin duda acompañar al gran tenor popular del Quinteto Contrapunto, Jesús Sevillano
en su programa de televisión, con el merengue la Veragacha
y el golpe tocuyano la Chaparrita,
nos colocó en un compromiso de grata experiencia.
El placer y disfrute de acompañar a la grande Morella Muñoz,
cantora mezzosoprano Venezolana, en un evento navideño,
que nos llevó al aprendizaje de quienes compartimos
gratos momentos.
Experiencia latente e imborrable fue estar al lado de Simón Díaz
junto a su canto, en diversos escenarios en Caracas
y en el estado Guárico, donde sus chistes, su ánimo alegre,
durante todo el día, entre juegos de bolas criollas, ternera y canto,
nos ha colocado en orgullosos músicos.
Encuentro gratos con el hombre de Canchunchú Florido
del estado Sucre, ciudad natal de
Luis Mariano Rivera, hombre noble al son de la música oriental,
compartiendo cantos y comidas entre familias
y luego hacerle homenaje años después en Cumaná,
junto al Maestro mandolinista, Juancito Silva, inolvidable encuentro.
Cabe mencionar los intercambios musicales entre tarimas catienses y hogares caraqueños con el músico puertorriqueño
Andy Montañez, oírlo con tan solo una guitarra es grandioso y
disfrutar su sentimiento por el canto y la jocosidad que lo caracteriza son de gratos recuerdos.
Debo hacer mención al maestro, al pintor, al artesano y al ideólogo, Alfredo Almeida
de Sabaneta del estado Aragua, donde semanalmente frecuentábamos integrantes de agrupaciones culturales del país en el Movimiento de Opinión Crítica donde la cultura era el tema prioritario, su sabiduría y sus conversas nos adentraba a la sensibilización y a la
concientización de los saberes culturales.
El estado Lara marcó sin duda, la gran escuela, en primer lugar trabajar con el Gordo Páez,
cantautor larense y dar clases de guitarra en la casa de la cultura cuando él era director.
Acompañarle con mi cuatro unos valses, al músico Pablo Canela
en su casa en Barquisimeto y
que me obsequie su disco de acetato sobre el cuatro solista y tener un encuentro maravilloso
con Sixto Sarmiento, artesano y músico, y que continúe la experiencia en Carora con el Maestro Pío Alvarado
y luego pasar a la ciudad de El Tocuyo, para compartir y aprender con los maestros. Demetrio Brito, Rufino Colmenárez, Iván Querales, Juan Ramón Goyo, Clemente Torrealba y compartir tarimas y saberes con Los Golperos de El Tocuyo y Don Pío Alvarado y
su Grupo y pasar a la ciudad Jardín y echar cuentos
con el Caimán de Sanare,
fue sin duda mi mayor experiencia en el campo de la investigación de las tradiciones musicales y danzarias de Venezuela.
De Caracas es curiosa mi experiencia con grandes de la música, es grato destacar al maestro
Heriberto Colmenárez y Antonio Nieves,
músicos del ilustre Antonio Carrillo, de quienes sin
duda marcaron mi andar por la música instrumental Venezolana.
Bueno, y finalmente señalo a quienes marcaron mi camino de la profesión de música y folclore
en escuelas y conservatorios : Rhazés Hernández López,
Tiero Pezzutti, Violeta Lares, Salvador Toro Moya, Erin Vargas,
Rubén Guzmán, Annely Keller, Maria Luisa Stopello, Igor Colima,
Isabel Aretz, Mariagracia Imbrogno, René Rojas entre tanto,
que sin duda reconozco su calidad de Enseñanza y aporte a los estudios especializados.
Destaco y doy mérito de quienes me han acompado en este andar
tan sabroso, comprometido y saludable a mis hermanos Paredes
y a los integrantes artistas del: Grupo Catia, Canto del Pueblo, Odila, Grupo Vocal Hugo Alexander Alzolay, Tono al Aire, Quibure, Ensamble Fundacec, Ensamble Daniel Ortiz
y Orlando Paredes en Compañía.
