Well, well, well folks. It's already friday eh? And therefore, practically also weekend correct? But for the greater joy, at barely a week away from Christmas day. ¿Isn't it?
Then... what else could I be thinking about on a day like today to try to cheer you up on the weekend and keep your spirits up for the next week until Christmas day?
¡Music! right?
Of this is precisely what I was talking about a few days ago in my last post. When I told you that I already had a couple of articles in the oven to lift your soul outta the stratosphere and leave it dancing, fluttering and bouncing freely without gravity across the black matter of the entire universe.
But as there is never a lack of a broken for an unstitched and just as I mentioned in that last post. Something unexpected happened. A gang of thuggish guys... and another bunch of a bit less bad guys. Suddenly they distracted me from my sublime culinary musical concentration and completely pushed me away of my generous intentions to feed you all with a new trio of my ancient original tunes.
Specifically of this trio of tracks that I bring you today and that are part of my OldSkool DJ set of the early nineties with delightful old beats of pure hypnotrance and minimal techno that I created more than thirty years ago.
¡Alright! let's run!
These new three songs that I have uploaded and I'm sharing with you today. They are to add them to your playlist along with the other three that I had already uploaded and shared with you before in this previous post from a month ago.
In that previous post from a month ago. Over there I also tell you a bit of my old story as an electronic music producer, beats generator and DJ of my own original music in quite popular and very crowded private underground parties throughout my country as well as in large outdoor rave festivals everywhere.
Large outdoor rave festivals which many of them were organized and promoted by me. Inviting many prominent international DJs to come to my country to play with me for the appointment to put to dance, jump and enjoy to huge crowds of my countrymen nonstopping. Ah! those were the early 90s. };)
¿Can you see me?
Activity this that as professional DJ, organizer and promoter of big raves and music festivals. I was exerting for a good time. However very soon, a large number of new talents began to appear on the local rave scene with excellent skills and power of call that with a plethora of new remarkable genres of electronic music.
Like Acid Techno, Jungle, Drum&Bass, Dubstep, Hardcore and Electro among some others. And although unintentionally wanting. Little by little they gradually began to atomize what was initially a huge captive audience in the trend Trance, Minimal and Deep House into many different loyal tribes to each of these new musical proposals.
It was by then that it was already evident that unintentional competition was beginning to emerge between rave producers of these different genres of electronic music. Since that basically all of us were producing rave events for the very same and exclusive audience of youngsters. Only that with multiple and eclectic tastes within the scene. Which eventually made it a bit more difficult to organize them trying to ensure that the dates of other producers' events did not coincide with ours.

It was then, from that moment on, that I gave up my activities as an organizer and promoter of raves a bit to dedicate myself more fully to the creation of music of these other new genres that were beginning to emerge. Being able of creating a good number of new cool songs in these new genres that I also enjoyed immensely.
Unfortunately, the new beatz of these new musical genres were a bit more complex and complicated to produce for a non-academic musician like me. And hence, I was not prolific enough to generate the necessary number of them and of sufficient quality as to be able to build a kickass DJ set as abundant and varied as the one I already had built of HypnoTrance and MinimalTechno to play them for hours.
However, there are indeed some of these pieces online that I've uploaded on my bandcamp account long time ago and that I feel very happy and proud of having been able to create and produce them. Even with my non-academic limitations. Hahaha
Oh yeah, I invite you to click on the link immediately above and visit my bandcamp account to see what you think of these different tracks I have uploaded and stored there. Perhaps and even they will surprise you after having listened to the hypnotic, minimalist and bouncing ones that I have shared here today in this post. };)
Yeah! gimme, gimme, gimme!
Hahaha well, the choice is all yours. You can choose between listening to the other three of this same genre that I have stored in Soundcloud from my famous HypnoTrance DJ set and then spend some time building your own playlist during the weekend to continue dancing until Christmas.
Or you can also choose to visit my bandcamp account immediately and go on a rampage snooping across the other delicacies that I have over there to see if those are more appropriate to your palate to celebrate this Christmas.
And as I've said before, the choice is all yours. But in my humble opinion and based on the fact that there are still nine days until Christmas. I suppose you still have enough time to listen and enjoy them all and thus expand the repertoire of unique, exclusive and original music for your Christmas day that this old Venezuelan DJ offers you. And in any case. I equally wish you a very ¡Merry Christmas! ¡Salud! :)
