Today i am excited to share with you how i crocheted an earing with a peace symbol.
I was inspired by this month contest theme and i thought deeply on how i can explore it,hence this idea came up and i wasted no time but to put it into action.
I got my work materials ready and i was set to work
Here are the materials u used
- Knitting pin
- Maroon colour wool
- Scissors
- Silver trimming
- Earing hooks
- Glue
First step
The first step has always been simple,i got my wool
Unwrapped it gently and i made a knot from it.
Second step
I got my crocheting pin ready,i wrapped the wool around my second finger and i was ready to crochet.
Next step
I started crocheting it around the circle knot i had created,i went round the circle till i reach the first point i had started.
Next step
After reaching the first point i had started,
I closed up the circle by dragging the wool to make it tight,and i was left with a tiny hole in the middle.
So i kept on repeating the same process of crocheting till i got the bigger size of it.
Next step
After the previous steps,i added silver colour trimmings to make it more beautiful,
I used the trimmings to design a peace symbol on the wool.
I used my glue and glued it on it to make it firmer.
Final step
Finally i got my earing hooks and i fixed it on the earing,and my peace earing was ready.
I really felt good that i could do something for myself as i wish myself peace in all aspects of my life.
