Hello everyone community its been an amazing day for me how are you all doing? And
happy new year to you all.

I had a busy festive period, such that it didn't really give me time for my content but am glad i could make it today

Am so happy to share with with you the dress i made for my daughter.
Indeed with diy i have learnt that no fabric is wasted.
I had this small piece of blue colour plain fabric which was a left over fabric that i had used long time ago.
So i decided to make her happy by sewing something new.
Kids gets excited each time you can give them something new ,the happiness and joy is always satisfying.
So i got this piece of fabric and i was ready to work. Here are the materials i used:
- Blue colour fabric
- Ankara pieces
- Scissors

First step
The first thing i did was to mark down her measurements, the shoulder which was with the sleeve,i dropped it down by7 since it was to be a free gown.
I had the full length and the waist and hip area was marked so i cut it through .

For the neck i choose a V neck design
And i made a little design in the middle of the dress

Next step
I got the ankara scraps i had,i cut them into square shapes,i made four pieces from it.

Next step
Then i picked them and placed on the blue colour fabric and i sew each square design on the dress

And finally my baby girl's dress was ready.
She wore it happily and i love the colour combination and the smiles on her face.
