Julley Everyone,
Started the journey somewhere near about 7:30 AM all the way from the place Batal in Spiti Valley it took about seven hours. All the way from Manali driving through these Harsh trails all the way into the Spiti somewhere in between we stayed in the campsite.
And it was the moment to explore the place is beyond, so we started somewhere about 7 AM. All the way to the place called Chandra Lake in Spiti Valley, currently an altitude of more than 4200 m above the sea level.
Driving straight through Harsh trails.
The climate kind of looked, something just like this with these few of the clouds, and even at this particular time throughout their, it might even snow at this particular season time of the year and lately later in the day it did too.
We were driving continuously all the way to the places unknown until we reached at this place where we saw this half melted Glacier and the whole landscape. Kind of looked something like this.
The road it had countless number of bumps and hardly I would say it to be a road literally more over. It was just the trail that was all the way through these high altitude mountains that made all the way the journey accessible to the other side of the valley, it was literally so remote that hardly even the GPS on my watch. It was not able to capture it and more over, but it was so isolated and that was the true feeling of getting lost in a world, where truly I would say is to be peaceful.
Another thing that I noticed all the way it was that I saw in these remote isolated locations. There were just a single house. I was not sure about that what it was, but more it was just all the way in these remote isolated locations and it was just single cottage like house on the other side.
The Zig Zag Roads.
The more we were driving and getting deep inside the valley. It was that the road was getting narrow and narrow and all the way since I started my journey early morning, hardly, I found any other vehicle all the way since I was driving and that was the true feeling of being all in this isolated location. Moreover, altogether it took me near about 8-9 hours excluding my stay in the camp since I started my journey all the way from Manali to this location in Spiti Valley.
The snow at the top of high altitude mountains.
There even were these few of the higher mountains that were all covered with a thick sheet of snow and in altitude more than 6000 m above the sea level. It was truly a whole lot of a different experience that I had on when I was at this place and I thought why not to share these moments with you guys through this post, so I tried capturing as many photographs as I could all the way in different perspective and different angles, so that you guys could also experience such hidden moments from the Himalayas and that two with the first experience of truly being there even as a person who has visited the place for the first time and sharing his first experience with you guys through this post.
It was the moment where I saw that there were these high altitude mountains that was still covered with the thick sheet of snow, and that would last for near about throughout the time throughout the year and also they were arranging more than 6000 m above the sea level and the mountain is being so high and also so remote, the higher altitude, avalanche and glaciers that would never melt in the Himalayas.
In the valley Unknown
I was truly truly getting the feeling that we were entering to the place unknown as moreover, the place was so remote and so isolated that most of the time throughout the year, it is covered under a thick sheet of snow that lasts for quite a lot of time throughout the year and it was only the time throughout the year when this place was as dry as it seems like, and it was truly a whole lot of a different experience that I had on when I was at this place.
Driving straight through these remote locations.
At certain point, it was all the way through, but moreover, as we were driving by it was that there were several twists and turns at certain points and even it truly felt like when I saw in the photographs that I captured it was not this particular moment when I was driving, but moreover it was when I saw these photographs, I was just done to see that how crazy and how adventurous was this whole ride as we were literally driving somewhere in between through the whole loose gravels Mountain that all the way through around the place and the place being so dry, it was truly so magical and so dreamy a whole lot of a different experience that I had on when I was at this place.
No GPS, No Cellular Network nothing at all just stillness of nature and peacefulness.
It was like that we were entering to the remote locations, and even the last village was somewhere quite so far away, and truly when I reach at this particular location, no cellular, even the GPS was stuck and was struggling at certain points to find the exact location and find the exact latitude and longitude around the place.
The lonely house
This was the thing and the main highlight of the post as I was driving by I saw that on the other side of the valley there was this just a single house. I was not sure about that what it was, but truly it was just a single cottage that was on the other side of the valley and truly my friends. It was just so different and so unfamiliar to see such things at such an high altitude locations and the place being so isolated and so remote.
The melted Glacier like structure.
It was the beginning of the moment where I saw that there was this huge patch of leisure that was truly all melted all around the place, and it was for kilometre and more than that, and the whole landscape kind of looked something like this.
It was truly that in the winter season and also during the times when there is snow at the place, it is the moment when the whole place is just covered under thick sheet of snow and the snow ranging more than 10 to 15 feet that would last for about more than half the time throughout the year or more than 6 to 7 months, and as previously mentioned, this only was the time throughout the year when this place was as dry as it seems like.
Here is glimpse of the trails that I went all the way through. Do let me know my friends. The photographs you like the most in the common section, and I would love to hear it from you. I have captured all of these photographs using my
Apple iPhone 12 and edited them using iPhone photo editor.
So that's all for today guys, I hope you liked it.
Thanks for your precious time. 🙏
Love from the Himalayas. ❤️
