Sometimes, life leaves me no clue as to how some things happen negatively to good people. When we were growing up, all I thought was that good people would live longer while the wicked ones would die untimely because whatever they did bad to another fellow, something would strike them and they die miserably — this was how we were brought up and even being instilled good morals like doing good, being kind to one another and above all, learn to love another because it is the first mandatory rule in the Bible. Love is the greatest, so does the Bible put it!
Life is a complicated tapestry that weaves together a multitude of events, from unforeseen tragedies and sorrows to moments of pure bliss. This unpredictable nature frequently makes us wonder why good people and compassionate people encounter circumstances that don't seem right.
This made me exhibit a good character to myself and others as I was scared to death of what may happen to me once I did badly. I always have the opinion that the world does not like evil, so whoever portrays a bad attitude or character is wade off among people in society.
But things aren't like this anymore.
It leaves me with questions like: why do bad things happen to good people today? Why does it seem as if the bad ones are occupying the world more than the good ones? Why does it look like the good people do not see justice even when they want to but the world happily accepts the bad ones and seeks justice for them? It's so disheartening.
That is a tough one! Sometimes, predicting life leads to unfair or challenging situations, even for good people. A bothered question like this leads to a complex interplay of some factors like chance, circumstances and the choices others make that lead to these ravaging situations. The truth is that it seems so unjust to see good people facing hardships.
Sometimes, these experiences might not necessarily be a result of their actions but rather a part of life's randomness or the consequences of other people's actions. This is where the Bible passage comes into play, when the sinners are being punished, the righteous take part in it. Imagine a good person going on his own and because of a wrong action taken by an offender, the person is being implicated.
This is why we have a lot of innocent individuals suffering from the offence of the bad eggs. So unfortunate! Just like I mentioned above, factors like chance, natural disasters, societal systems, decisions of others, etc can play a role in this troubling question that leaves our mind shattered while feeling it might be our turn next as the good people we are.
The decisions made by others might have a negative impact on good individuals, causing them to face uncontrollably unfavourable circumstances. While we still dwell on questions like this, though chance plays an undeniable role in this, it is still important to navigate through another complex web of factors like random events, accidents or natural occurrences that may happen to anyone irrespective of who you are or your character. Whether it's an unforeseen illness or the sudden loss of loved ones, these events can disrupt even the life of the most righteous person on earth.
Another thing we need to understand that contributes to this dilemma is how societal systems and structures play a big part in the unfolding of events. Injustices incorporated within societal frameworks can unfavourably impact good people. Yet, amidst this philosophical debate, there is still a glimmer of hope and resilience. Often, it is how we respond to adversity that defines the human spirit. Many individuals, amidst these situations and challenges still showcase their strength while portraying a 'never giving up' attitude knowing that hope is still available as long as we are still breathing.
For these people, their ability to navigate through turmoil, to rise above turbulent times and to maintain inherent goodness in the face of adversity now becomes a beacon of inspiration and motivation.
