Hello there, blockchain gamers! Are you a baron, by chance?
Besides possibly being considered a baron of South American land (at least in my own eyes), I've never been a baron of anything. I am a bit of a land connoisseur, though. I have a single plot in Mexico and, though I did not plan to keep them both at first, 2 Afghanistan plots. I had initially bought one at some price (I forgot) but then later the lowest asking price was 10 HIVE! And, mind you, this was before we broke the dollar so of course I snatched another one up. Prices are only a bit higher than that at the moment. I guess it's mine for good now; I like their productivity.
Using some spare SWAP.HIVE I had left over after a previous transaction, I bought 2 seeds with high Produce at relatively low cost on nftm.art. I can't wait until I can buy actual seeds with HIVE. Someday...
Seeds appear in my inventory almost instantly and are ready to plant. No need to stratify or scarify them!
I'm still getting used to Afghani strains so I don't know how much water I'll need. Luckily, Hashkings provides us with this handy cheat sheet.
Not all strains shown.
We're going to need 1680 water x 2 seeds - current water supply. It's too bad I didn't plant Mazar I Sharif because 1296 is very good year. Almost as old as I am! Ah ha ha!
Luckily, water is cheap as dirt! I always water right away because why wait? Then you can forget and the seed will die (I think?)
Look at what a beautiful young plant it has become overnight! It's a Christmas miracle! From here it should be fine on its own, but later it will be constantly tended by friendly robots! I cannot wait for their invasion, err I mean arrival, yes that's better...
With all the BUDS I'm accumulating, I hope to burn them someday ;) seriously though to earn some MOTA token. It would be nice to earn some seeds by staking MOTA and be a little more self-sufficient. After all, we are trying to play to earn. I love the market interoperability with the different playstyles.
