उस युग में सात वर्ष का बालक मुश्किल से तख्ती लेकर स्कूल
जाने लायक होता था।
1924 से 1931 सात ही वर्ष होते हैं।
हिसाब के पाई से पाई मिलानी हो तो इनमें तीन महीने और
जुड़ते -जनवरीफरवरीमार्च।
मार्य भी पूरा नहींउसके सिर्फ 23 दिन !
इस तरह कुल सात वर्ष दो महीने और तेईस दिन।
कुछ भी नहीकुछ भी तो नहीं।
हम सबके जीवन में सात वर्ष और तीन महीने देखतेदेखते
गुज़र जाते हैं, तो सचमुच कुछ भी तो नही होते सात वर्ष और तीन
महीने।
हां, कुछ नहीं होतेपर वह इतने ही दिनों में तूफान भी हो गया ।
संसार की सबसे बड़ी शक्ति की नींव भी हिला गया और राष्ट्र।
को नई समाज-व्यवस्था का सूत्र भी दे गया।
हम वे दिन भी गिन लें, जो बेहोशी में बीते और वे दिन भी
गिन लें जो बेखुदी में बीते तो तेईस वर्ष होते हैं।

बी.ए. या एमए. की कक्षाओं में बैठे मिलेगे।
पर वह तेईस वर्ष की उम्र में ही दुश्मन को बेहाल और देश को
निहाल कर गया, इतिहास का एक पृष्ट लिख गया, इतिहास का
एक पृष्ठ हो गया है!
