Sndbox, Baby! + CELF, Greater Heights

For those who have been following my updates on my bid to become a part of the Hive account@sndbox incubator program, I'm glad to tell you that this part of the love story has finally come to a conclusion. And what a brilliant one it is.

_{QUICK REWIND}

A few months ago, thanks to Hive account@anomadsoul and Hive account@guyfawkes4-20, I got admitted into the sndbox summer camp, a project meant to recruit and groom prospective candidates to become a part of Hive account@sndbox program!

This, of course, after having participated in a few quests. Then during the summer camp we were asked to become a part of one out of a few selected promising projects on the steem blockchain. I chose to join Hive account@joedukeg's amazing art curation project, Hive account@celfmagazine. During the camp we spent a few weeks coming up with plans and designs and modus operandi to make CELF better.

To our astonishment, CELF was a part of the three final projects selected for full support, backing and mentorship by Hive account@sndbox, and I was also a part of the selected camp mates for the final quest.

During the course of this last month the final quest was ongoing, and what a fun and edifying experience it was. With the help of the other project mates, we were able to perfect a few aspect of CELF's curation, lay down some future goals, and also, with the help of Hive account@sndbox, host a well received writing competition which garnered a host of brilliant entries!

All good things, though, must come to an end.

Yesterday the sndbox summer camp ended for the cohorts II prospectives. But thankfully the end of that journey marked the beginning of another. Or to put it in other words,

I made it into sndbox, baby!

The instant I found out what they were about, I recognized and appreciated the potential of the Hive account@sndbox incubator project.

The best thing about steemit, by a long, long measure, is the community. I've met so many amazing people on here in the short months I've spent than I've met in "real life" my entire life!--thanks to communities like Hive account@curie, Hive account@c-squared, the congregation, Be Awesome discord, ArchDruid Gaming et al.

With sndbox, an incubator built specifically for this purpose: for artists and creatives and entrepreneurs to come together and exchange ideas and make each other better, I have no doubt I'm about to have myself a renewed remarkable dose of awesomeness! and that is not even mentioning the opportunity afforded to its members to grow and make a difference, thanks to the power of the steem blockchain.

To put it simply, I can't wait!

CELF is an amazing curation project with a bright future, one to which I plan to stay dedicated, even though the summer camp is officially over.

I've been having discussions with Hive account@joedukeg and we have been coming up with awesome stuffs. I know for certain that with our vision, and Hive account@sndbox's support, and the amazing array of talents on this blockchain, this project will offer a lot in the near future.
