π£ I want to write this article before I go to sleep because someone like me cannot sleep if she/he feels needed.
So, I have taken a long shower and thought to come back and focus on writing this.
A Hive friend asked me a few hours ago if I know anything natural for pancreatitis. Yes, I know what I have been using and made the best significance for me while I was far from home, traveling to deliver training and coaching - raw propolis from farmers. But that is just to help for those nasty, painful moments.

ππ½βοΈπΏπΎ Constantin Milica, a well-known phytotherapist, naturopath, and academician that I have met in 2016 I think, gave me a very practical and sharp plan of treatment for pancreatitis, that I have followed as I could and helped a lot. I will share it with all of you here and maybe this could help you or someone you know. I must tell you that maybe some of the plants or ingredients might be harder to reach.
***Ready?
LET'S START!***
Phytotherapeutic recommendations for internal use
- decoction of stone lichen, prepared with a teaspoon of herb in 250 ml of water, which is boiled for five minutes; after cooling to 400C add a pinch of baking soda and drink three cups a day, 30 minutes before main meals, having very good effects in stimulating pancreatic secretions;
- anise infusion: 10 grams of ground seeds in 250 ml of boiling water; infuse covered for 15-20 minutes and drink one cup a day, divided into three portions, before meals;
- infusion of Galium verum or Cruciata leaves flowers: two teaspoons of dried and chopped herbs are infused for 15 minutes in 250 ml of boiling water, strain and drink two or three cups a day;
- cold maceration of sweet calamus, from a teaspoon of dried and crushed root, kept for 8-12 hours in 250 ml of cold water; the next day warm up slightly, strain, and drink one sip before and after each main meal (a total of six sips a day);
- tincture of stone lichen (20 g of dried herb per 100 ml of alcohol 700); soak for 10 days, strain and take 15-25 drops before meals;
- dandelion tincture (20 g of dried and crushed roots per 100 g of alcohol 700); soak for 14 days in the sun or close to a light source of heat and take 15-20 drops 2-3 times a day;
- anise essential oil, from which 8-12 drops are taken per day, divided into 2-3 portions;
- Dandelion stem (6-10 fresh stems) is consumed daily in a spring cure, along with a salad of fresh dandelion leaves.
The recommended plant mixtures are gentian, mint, garden mallow, dandelion, wormwood, fluff, shepherd's purse, live nettle - the green one we have during this season - and valerian.
My recipe: anise (seeds), stone lichen, dandelion, fluff (grass), chamomile (flowers), and valerian (roots). Take two teaspoons of this mixture in 250 ml of boiling water, infuse covered for 10 minutes, strain, and drink three sweetened teas a day.
For external use, on the surface of the abdomen, in the area of ββthe pancreas, grease the skin with marigold ointment and then put a poultice with grass crushed by the crab tail.

The diet should stimulate pancreatic secretion
In the therapy of pancreatic diseases, nutrition has an essential role. It is necessary to establish an adequate diet, necessarily a high-calorie diet to prevent a decrease in energy and body weight.
Dietary treatment will begin with a total digestive rest for a period of 24 hours. For the next 2-3 days, any oral diet, which could increase the pain, is forbidden. In order to balance the necessary fluids in the body, a hydric regime with nutrient solutions will be used, in which glucose and amino acids, administered by infusions, are introduced in the central venous catheter.
After 4-5 days you can switch to a semi-liquid oral diet (300-400 ml per day), consisting of medicinal teas and unsalted tomato juices, with the addition of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D3, and K) and B vitamins. B12). After 7-10 days from the onset of the crisis, add skim milk and milk, chicken or veal, cold-pressed oil (in salads), butter, honey, a little bread, well-cooked vegetables. , fruit juices and compotes (from cherries, lemons, oranges).

A hyper protein and hyperglycemic diet follows, depending on the specific tolerance of the body, with the categorical exclusion of alcoholic beverages and strong medicines. This diet of sparing the pancreas has the role of stimulating pancreatic secretion provided the addition of enzymes (I've used proteolytic ones) and antispasmodics, antibiotics, and sedatives, which will help normalize abdominal movements. It should be noted that the pancreas does not tolerate an overeating diet with fatty foods, red meat, game, refined sugars, synthetic juices, chocolate, coffee, and especially alcohol.
Green fruits drain pancreatic fluid
The pancreas will be detoxified by a systematic consumption of fresh vegetables, which have the ability to stimulate pancreatic functions (spinach, young nettles, tomatoes, eggplant, radishes, cabbage, cauliflower, leeks, cucumbers, green beans).
Fruits (cherries, peaches, apricots, apples, plums, quinces, blueberries, black and red currants, lemons, oranges, mandarins, bananas, sea buckthorn, hazelnuts, walnuts), eaten fresh or in natural juices, drunk in the morning on an empty stomach for eight days. The best are green fruits, raw, consumed as such or in various dishes, having an important role in draining pancreatic fluid.
In all pancreatic diseases, the food ratio will be divided daily into 5-6 small meals a day, easy to digest, so as not to overload the functions of the diseased pancreas. As much as possible, the food should not be heat-processed and chewed very well to stimulate salivation.
π I am sure there are many natural suggestions that can be offered, but I have focused on a plan to give you the exact plan I have been given and followed, even if not 100% as it was suggested. It still made me feel much better for several years now.
I've also worked on the somatic aspects of this affection but this is for another time to write about.
#Mindfulness #TaiChi #QiGong #NLP #Guidedmeditations #Coaching #EnergyHealing ....they all helped me also
May this be of use to you and to those you care about!
Thank you for reading! ππβ€οΈ
