Sometimes bad days come in our life all of a sudden, without any warning. But it's okay, no? I believe sometimes we actually need bad days to realize and have a tour to see how life is going.
That's why I'm trying to focus more on self-care!
So...I'm having bad days for a few days. I shared it before, my laptop got issues and I had to send it for servicing. It's not like that I don't have my data backed. But setting up everything in a new device is taking the time. And the enormous mental pressure is getting on my nerves.
Being a mom, it's hard to get time for self-care; especially if I talk about spending time alone. You can understand taking a break for even half an hour is very tough for me. And to be honest I don't actually get that also.
So, what to do?
Well, I do give myself quality time, some treats, spending time on what I love to do, doing meditation helps me a lot.
I try to center my focus first. It helps a lot to ignore all the negativity, bad moments around. A calm & centered mind can lead us to happiness, that's what I believe. Taking a long bath, having my favorite coffee, spending time on my balcony garden, quality time with my son, connecting with my friends and family; everything adds great value during bad days.
If you are also struggling to find out how to spend quality time with thyself and include self-care in your busy schedule you can think about this. And, I practice mindfulness in my everyday life so I will always recommend that. Just adding some simple things can make us happy, improve our bond with the inner self, and leads us towards more happiness.
