I don't photograph the Capitol much. Although it is a Havana icon - worthy of any postcard - I feel it is over-photographed. It appears on almost every stage and artistic space that seeks to represent Cuba or Havana.
But... what can I say? It's great. 😁
That gigantic structure, with its imposing columns and majestic dome, has a magnetism that is impossible to ignore. Today I was passing nearby, looking for something more streetwise, personal and people scenes... but something was calling me insistently.
I had no choice but to look towards him... and well, he earned his session.
Here I leave you this little sample. I hope you like it. It is, quite simply, spectacular. 👌📸

No suelo fotografiar mucho el Capitolio. A pesar de ser un ícono habanero —digno de cualquier postal— siento que está demasiado fotografiado. Aparece en casi todos los escenarios y espacios artísticos que buscan representar a Cuba o a La Habana.

Esa estructura gigantesca, con sus columnas imponentes y su majestuosa cúpula, tiene un magnetismo imposible de ignorar. Hoy pasaba cerca, buscando algo más callejero, escenas personales y con gente… pero algo me llamaba con insistencia.
No me quedó de otra que mirar hacia él… y bueno, se ganó su sesión.
