Here's Helen... the second model from my previous post.
Having worked with her a couple of times before, once in a nightclub, the other at her home, it was nice to work with her in a studio (ish) enviroment.. (to be honest, just working with Helen anywhere is great, shes a busy person but her personality is a nice as her looks!)
yeah its that parquet flooring again, and the same lighting setup, I love it, I mean I REALLLY love it.
I'm currently shooting with a canon 5d3, and usually with a 85mm 1.8 lens on the front.... Which I love to shoot with, but in low light, the focusing is slow, and at low aperture, I'm missing a lot of shots using the focus and recompose technique. now the 5d3 has a good number of focus points but it's just too slow to use when I'm altering it a lot..
So, and heres where I'm going to thank Hive..!!! Im upgrading to mirrorless, still sticking with Canon and the R6.. I'm tired of watching Youtube videos of photographers practically juggling the camera, hitting the button and pulling out a stunner of an image.. So I'm gunna join em.
So, back onto this shoot... the above shot was lit with 4 lights.. 3x godox ad200 on the floor... gelled up for an effect not shown on the bw conversion. and an ad600 as main... sorry but I cant remember what modifier I used, but as a guess I think it was a 6ft octa.
Same setup, different angle...
Back to that floor, just love the shadows, the reflections... its just total wood porn for me...
