Those of us who were lucky enough to go to SteemFest 3 and stay for the closing dinner had the privilege to visit this amazing place.
I kept hearing about the "salines", the "mine" or "the cave". I confess I didn't do my homework. I had no idea what to expect. It was easy to check about it online but... what for? If 
After being there I completely understand why The Wieliczka Salt Mine are a top touristic attraction in Kraków.
It's how it should be! You can see nature, human activity and a well preserved place. It's a very educative visit but never boring.
You get amazed again and again. And if you like stairs... it's for you! Don't worry, they have a super cool elevator too.
Some areas are more like a museum were all the art is carved in the stone.
Oh... and the salt is in the stone so you are allowed to lick the walls.
Those of you planning to go to Kraków should find the time to visit the mine!
