This is a more interesting topic for me, even though I know what Hive is about, I can remember that a comment is also taken as a publication, I think this is the best way to express yourself, directly in the publication and not make a new one, I am not interested in voting, although the good thing is that comments can also be voted.
And just in that I think that this kind of things to comment is undervalued, I mean, I have never seen a comment in the trends, why? if you are supposed to do the same as a "new post" format only you don't have tags or title, this is one of the clichés I see more in Hive, well, also in steemit for that time.
I'm going to speak for the curators, because we are the most criticized, because our publications maybe have more votes, and people forget that we are content creators too, and that curatorship is not free, the employer chooses how to pay his employee, it can be in cash, or it can be in votes, and in hive there is no rule that prevents it.
So content creators, understand that the curatorship is a strong work, especially when who is in front of you as a boss has a great power, we have the responsibility.
Time, here there are people who have not even a year in the blockchain and are already criticizing you, people who do not even greet you criticize you for getting good votes without knowing the sources or as I said a moment ago, they see us as curators and not as content creators, we also have our "quality", we also spend time and much to do both things.
What is not understood, and should always be understood, is that no one has a guaranteed vote, absolutely no one, unless you vote for yourself for having good voting power.
A few days ago I was talking about the voting system of a dapp that I am not going to name, now, this dapp votes content according to its traffic, well, we did some tests among colleagues and the result was disappointing, it turns out that the traffic of many publications are 10-word comments, from the same users, where clearly you can see the sense of malice to the great vote, while a quality publication in all senses has very good and constructive comments, it gets 10% of votes, the other one that is monotonous, boring with basic comments gets 50% and even more.
Of course, every project has its rules, and always remembering that the vote is not a guarantee, but when you have a public VOTING SYSTEM, in which you take into account the traffic, why do you proceed to vote randomly? less for the good, more for the basic, and I can not fail to mention. ..that percentage that they take away from you for using their platform, well, this is something that I tried to fix and I couldn't, I can't, because even having 3 years in a blockchain your voice is not taken into account, they will only thank you for the report or the comment and that's it.
For this example I mean that, people must understand the word "decentralization" in order to be here and not become bitter, stop criticizing the other without knowing or having proof, stop thinking that being persistent guarantees you votes or that quality itself will lead you to the top of the trends, this is as false as those who say they are not here for the money.
Certainly there are many rules that shouldn't even be rules, they are just impositions of those who have more power in Hive, for example, if this comment was really a post (IT IS) I would get a considerable vote, but if you were to see this comment in trends, the DV war would be fulminating.
When money is involved the morale is in question, but I think there are people who are really here for the money, but they are also here to take care of the blockchain that fills their pockets, or that satisfies them as a content creator when they get a vote for effort or because I am a friend of some powerful person... but remember once again I can have my friends, and if I publish something of quality and that person wants to vote for me is in all his right, and if he wants to vote for all my publications he can do it too, this is something they don't understand, they see it as abuse... abuse... I think the biggest abuse is to pretend to be someone else, to use the automatic votes of big whales to make shitpost...
Or rather...
The biggest abuse is to say you're not in it for the money.
There are many things to say, but this is all for today, thanks for this initiative, I think you are more productive than others over there. Although the previous one was... as to make a drama and that a bomb will explode, well you criticize always is going to see, but it is funny to read unfounded criticisms, that is to say, come on you need tests and time to learn what you should do and what not, what you should say and what not... accept the downvote as you accept with joy the upvote, and above all not say "I am committed to the platform" and you criticize it in other social media, that is to say, how many faces do you have?
I don't want to leave without saying...
Curators, curators who have years of experience in this work, "we bust our asses", we are literally busting our asses now.
Thanks blue! a hug.
