New Composition:
One of the easiest way to write a song is using the 1625 Chord Progression.
What is 1625?
1 = Chord 1
6 = Chord 6
2 = Chord 2
5 = Chord 5
Chord 1 is the most stable chord. It is the Home chord so in all song composition, the song needs to go home and end on Chord 1.
Chord 6 and Chord 2 are minor chords. They add feelings and emotions to your songs to move the song to intensity.
Chord 5 is the dominant chord. If you play Chord 5 as a dominant 7 (V7) Chord, it creates a high tension that wants to resolve to a stable chord such as Chord 1.
1625
I composed this song for my mom and also a gift to all the mothers today since it is Mother's Day.
I used 1625 chord progression for this composition.
1st line: A soft beginning in the 1625
2nd line: An echo of 1st line with a difference in the ending
3rd line: Creating an intensity with different rhythm like you see in many chorus of songs
4th line: A bridge 1625
5th line: Bringing the song to a close with 6251 ending with Chord 1 run to a final base tone 1.
Hope you like it!
You can play 1625 in any key.
For C Key, the chords are as follows:
Chord 1 - C
Chord 6 - Am
Chord 2 - Dm
Chord 5 - G7
To play in any key easily, use Roman Numerals.
Chord 1 - I
Chord 6 - vi7
Chord 2 - ii7
Chord 5 - V7
