Back in Black is the seventh studio album by Australian rock band AC/DC, released on 25 July 1980 by Albert Productions and Atlantic Records. AC/DC planned to record a follow-up album following the commercial success of 1979's Highway to Hell, but Bon Scott died in February 1980, so their plans changed. Following Bon Scott's death, the band did not disband and they recruited Geordie's vocalist, Brian Johnson, and decided to continue. The album was composed by Brian Johnson, Angus McKinnon Young and Malcolm Young, and produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange. The album's all-black cover is designed as a tribute to Bon Scott.

Back in Black achieved unprecedented commercial success, selling over 50 million copies worldwide, becoming the best-selling album in music history. But in 1984, Michael Jackson's Thriller album broke this record. Back in Black is currently the 2nd best-selling album worldwide. On December 9, 2019, the album Back in Black was certified 25x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). And in 1981 it reached number 37 on the Billboard Hot 100, and in 2012 it reached number 65 in Australia and number 27 in the UK.

The album Back in Black is a truly great work, and they are all good, but if I had to choose one, my favorite song on the album is "You Shook Me All Night Long".

"You Shook Me All Night Long" is one of the songs that I never get tired of listening to. This song really excites me and encourages me to dance. AC/DC's performance is truly amazing, thank you to them for such a wonderful work.
