(What's the Story) Morning Glory? is the second studio album by English rock band Oasis, released on 2 October 1995 by Creation Records. It was produced by Owen Morris and the band's lead guitarist and chief songwriter Noel Gallagher. The album was recorded in March, May and June 1995. The album's structure and arrangement style were quite departure from the band's previous album, Definitely Maybe (1994). Noel Gallagher's compositions were more focused on ballads, with more emphasis on huge choruses.

Morning Glory was a major commercial success worldwide, selling over 22 million copies, becoming one of the best-selling albums of all time. The album propelled Oasis from a crossover indie act into a worldwide rock phenomenon, and is regarded by critics as a significant record in the timeline of British indie music. Morning Glory sold a record-breaking 345,000 copies in its first week in the UK, subsequently spending 10 weeks at number one on the UK Albums Chart. Additionally, it was the band's first breakthrough in the United States, peaking at number four on the US Billboard 200 and being certified 4x platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Additionally, at the 1996 Brit Awards, the album won Best British Album. Morning Glory is still regarded as a seminal record of both the Britpop era and the 1990s in general. The album has also appeared on various lists of rock music's best albums, and was named the greatest British album since 1980 at the 2010 Brit Awards. Additionally, as of October 2018, the album is the fifth best-selling album in the United Kingdom and the third best-selling studio album of all time, and has been certified 17x platinum. To evaluate the album in general, It's one of the greatest albums ever recorded, and remains one of the most important albums from the '90s, defining the Britpop era with its incredible hits. There are great songs in the album such as "Don't Look Back in Anger", "Wonderwall", "Morning Glory", I can say that my favorite in this album is "Champagne Supernova".
