YouTube’s Billion Views Club | Rising Star Giveaway

YouTube is an American video sharing website headquartered in San Bruno, California. Although the most viewed videos on YouTube were initially viral videos, over time the most-viewed videos were increasingly related to music videos. Youtube is one of the most preferred apps by music lovers, and it is the app I use the most. I use YouTube especially on my TV and computer.

It is not easy to reach 1 billion views on YouTube. Maybe this does not prove that the song is perfect, but it proves that it is good because it has been watched by millions of people.

Today I wanted to briefly talk about YouTube's Billion Views Club because I check this list whenever I can and it really helps me find great songs I've been missing.

Gangnam Style passed the billion views mark on YouTube for the first time in December 2012. On January 13, 2022, Pinkfong's song "Baby Shark" became the first video to reach 10 billion views and is still the most viewed video on YouTube to date.

Below are the videos of 5 songs in the top 10.

Luis Fonsi - Despacito (8,273,893,426 views)

Ed Sheeran - Shape of You (6,094,128,094 views)

Wiz Khalifa - See You Again (6,038,054,418 views)

Mark Ronson - Uptown Funk (5,041,626,719 views)

I have listened to these songs hundreds of times, they are truly wonderful works. If I had to choose between them, I would choose See You Again. The song See You Again has a special memory for me, but I won't talk about it right now.

Also, whenever I hear the song See You Again, I think of Paul Walker and I really miss him. Paul Walker was truly an excellent actor. If you are a fan of The Fast and the Furious series, you probably miss him too.

It doesn't surprise me that there are more old songs on the list, great work never gets old and they will be with us forever, frankly I don't get the same taste from the new songs as I do from the old ones.
