Marvin Gaye passed away on April 1, 1984 at the age of 45, and he truly left great staples for world music. I like many of Marvin Gaye's songs, Let's Get It On is one of them.
Released 50 years ago, Let's Get It On is still a great song that touches a lot of people. I love these kind of heart touching songs and I never get tired of listening to them.
Marvin Gaye’s 1973 staple Let’s Get It On will be released digitally by Motown as a revised and expanded digital edition on August 25, to mark its 50th anniversary. The new digital edition will feature 33 bonus tracks, 18 of which were previously unreleased. It also includes alternate takes and mixes, single versions, new remixes and demos, as well as Let's Get It On.
I listen to any kind of music that sounds good according to my current mood. I usually listen to relaxing music while working, fun music with my friends, and heart touching music when alone. Let's Get It On is a really great song and even though it was released 50 years ago, it's one of those songs that can touch my heart. So I look forward to the release of the new digital version.
