Hello Beautiful People!
How’s your day? I hope you are fine.
It has been a busy week working, so we only have a few posts about our travel journey. The hectic schedule plus bad weather conditions affected our weekend travel to the springs and waterfalls in Cebu. However, let me share with our hive community our trip which is just near our village. Let’s go to the mountain resort located at Busay Cebu City.
WELCOME TO DON EMILIO BOTANICAL GARDEN
Dr. Emilio Osmeña Botanical Garden is located near the famous Tops of Cebu. It is both a resort and a botanical garden at Barangay Busay Cebu City. If you are coming from downtown Cebu, it will take approximately 30 minutes to arrive here.
Our trip here was unplanned. When my sister visited us in the countryside, she wanted to go to a place where there is a swimming pool so my niece can enjoy it. It happened that my friend on Fb posted some photos of her trip to this mountain resort, so I told my sister about this. After preparing our things and food, we went directly to this mountain resort and garden.
We traveled for 20 minutes to reach the resort. From the distance, we saw these beautiful triangle cabins around the swimming pool area. Subsequently, we parked our vehicles, then paid 100 pesos for the entrance fee which includes the tables and chairs. After putting our things and food. My sister and I toured the place.
BOTANICAL GARDEN
The garden and the flowering plants will greet you as you enter the resort. I love the bougainvilleas planted in big pots which are so colorful and blooming.
TRIANGLE SHEDS
What I like about the place are its cute white triangle houses or pyramids. These are their available rooms which are good for 2 people if you are planning to stay overnight.
SWIMMING POOL
At the center of the resort, you will see the circular elevated swimming pool that surrounds the plant in the middle of the pool which is the main highlight of the place. Moreover, it is safe for the kids since it is not deep which is only about 3-4 feet. When we were there, my niece enjoyed swimming and she found new friends as well.
COTTAGES
There are cottages with tables and chairs around the place which are actually free of charge. There is no corkage fee as well so make sure to bring food and water when you visit the place.
