Hello everyone! How’s everyone doing? I hope great.
Today I did an illustration just something random. I didn’t have any inspiration or reason behind it. I tried to do something like what would naturally be if humans suddenly left and you are the only person left, then you saw this beauty and decided to sketch it out. Yeah, I know that’s not possible or if it is. All I know is that it’s just me and my crazy imagination but I, anyway, decided to write about this illustration because it looks cool.
So let’s talk about how I did this illustration and before I start I want to let you know that I did this in Autodesk. Well normally I would first start with a sketch but this time I straight started coloring first. As it is about nature, I first started with flowers. I decided to do roses as that’s the easiest and quite simple. For this, I used the 'color builder tool' and 'a blending tool' then drew a circle with the 'color builder', and then used a darker shade of the color I used in the circle and drew curved lines around the circle. After that, I used the 'blending tool' to blend the color to the center of the circle and it looked like this.
Then I duplicated this layer into two-layer, giving one of them 'multiplied' and another 'soft glow'. This makes the flowers look more detailed and better.
Then I’m gonna work on some leaves. So to do that I used the same 'color builder tool' to draw the stem and leaves. After that, I duplicated that layer where I drew the leaves and stems and resized it and reduced the opacity, and gave some effect so that the leaves and stems don’t look the same and also because I am too lazy to draw leaves and stems individually, hehe.
Anyways, it did turn out bad so the next thing I did is add a little more flowers. The small tiny tiny flower that well seen in the flower shop to decorate the banquet of flowers. I think it’s called baby breath flowers. So yeah I decided to add them. To do that I used the charcoal tool and drew many small circles and it turned out like this.
The next part I just happened to come across. After I did the flowers I decided to give the background some glowing dotted effect. So I put the new layer in glow effect and used the dotted-2 tool. While doing it I didn’t notice the size plus the background was black so it turned out like this.
Next, I used the hexagon pattern tool to create the metal sidewalk look but it has to be rusty so I used orange-red and brown colors.
And that’s it for today. Hope you guys enjoyed it. Bye-bye now. See you guys on the next post and also thank you for taking your time in reading this.
