As I walked down my street after grabbing a chilled bottle of Coca-Cola from Mummy Dara’s shop, I watched the gardener across my street who was carrying out his task of mowing the grass diligently with a level of premium focus. Then I thought to myself, does this guy know about crypto, or that there was a recent pump in the market? You know, one of those random inquisitive thoughts you get in your head about whether you are the only one that follows the market with all your might and strength.
A pump in the market and on the chart has got everybody active with their strategy. Oh, I predicted this would play out. OH, I anticipated the pump in the market. Oh, I knew this day was not far from existence. Suddenly, telegram crypto groups and channels that were once silent like a graveyard are super active with messages coming in left, right, and center. Crypto influencers are now busy posting their percentage increase in their portfolio. I am not against this, but where was all this when the market was bloody?
Here is the interesting side to the story: the world is no longer built on the hardest worker gets the biggest pay or cheque. Rather are the smart ones. It is not I believe there is a pump, or I know crypto is the future that gets to pump their bags. Rather, it is those who have a skin in the game and keep calm during the tussle in the market. It is hard to say categorically who has made the most from Bitcoin, except if you are Satoshi Nakamoto. All you may get are the moves players have made, and I believe for sure there are people out there with portfolios bigger than you can imagine, and yet say nothing when there is a pump or even a dump in the market.
It is no longer about the fastest fingers, but rather the smart fingers that have successfully diversified their portfolio into several streams of income. Being non-dependent on only one instead they look at their portfolios while vacationing in the Maldives.
Please do not get me wrong by ditching your day job and going all in on crypto; rather, become motivated to build other things on the side while working your day job. Life is not fairer, nor is crypto. It is no longer all about working your ass off and saving up for your retirement; that should be your slogan, rather than accumulating from the get-go. The earlier the better, infact it is more of an advantage.
The crypto market is not just about hard work; rather, the smart ones look for leverage, how to adapt, and learn. In simple words, looking for new ways to adapt to the emerging economy. What can I use to my advantage to get an edge in this world as the day goes by?.
As the market pumps, take the time to think and see where to reposition yourself for what might come next. The pump does not last forever, but the smart ones know when to grab the win, avoid the losses, and look for emerging new things before it is too late. Nothing stays the same forever, even the value of the financial currency in your pocket at the moment or in your wallet.
