It's good that there is a note in this paragraph "The choice is endless" because to list what I love most in nature can be really endless. But I decided not to burden you with a huge number of words, so I'll stop at the top - 5.
Sea
The sea deservedly takes first place. Since childhood, I admired him, although I saw him only in photos or videos. And already in adulthood, I was finally introduced to him. It was both incredibly beautiful and quite scary because I can't swim.
I remember the first time I saw this endless blue colour from afar and the waves approaching the shore. I also remember those first feelings when you walk barefoot on the beach, your feet are warmed by hot sand, and then you feel the seawater.
I then, in general, stayed on the beach until the second night. I didn't see him very well at night, but I could clearly hear the silence is broken by the sounds of the waves. Waves are a supernatural phenomenon for me. You sit, watch them, listen and seem to fall into a trance. I liked the sea so much that I eventually moved closer to it. However, I have not learned to swim yet.
Mountains
I feel boundless love for the mountains. Almost from early childhood, well, from the moment I remember myself, I saw them. Every day I saw this landscape from afar because my hometown is in Transcarpathia.
Several times I even managed to go on a hike. Unfortunately, there aren't many photos left, I lost them somewhere. And in addition to hiking, I often saw the mountains, when my family and I went by car to relatives, as well as when I went by train to other cities.
Lightning
Every time there is a storm outside, I run like a fool to the window or to the balcony to watch the lightning. Since childhood. At the same time, I ignore the instinct of self-preservation. But it's so beautiful!
I don't have my own photos of lightning, I haven't learned to do it correctly yet. And the smartphone is unlikely to give a good picture. But I have an irresistible desire to combine all these favourite natural phenomena. Especially lightning with the sea. After all, in this case, you can safely hide in a cafe or apartment, the main thing is to see everything well.
Sunset
When I went to Albania on vacation, I managed to remove the sunset timelapse. I remember that evening there was a strong wind, the sea was beating huge waves, and I had only one wish. Take off this video at last! I then took a chair from the cafe next door to use as a tripod.
I put it all on the pier, periodically I had waves and a miracle that the phone itself was not damaged. Of course, the work is not perfect, because the wind tried to demolish the smartphone, but I have a great memory from that time.
And I'm glad that during this period I live on the 4th floor and therefore I can often see the sunset from the window. Of course, I would also like to see the sunrise, but I like to sleep too much and get up as early as torture.
Rain, frost and snow
I decided to combine these natural phenomena. Because they periodically "like" to appear almost together. Today it is raining, in the morning it is cold behind the wine, and in the afternoon it is already snowing. Yes, I like this combination, although I do not like that you can slip on the ice in the morning.
When it comes to rain, I like it when it's small and slow. That is not a super downpour, but calm nature. Then you see drops of water settling on all surfaces. On the grass, the leaves of the trees, on your window or even on an umbrella. That's pretty good, I think.
I like frost because everything is covered with hoarfrost. You look at ordinary things in a whole new way. Yesterday's green grass turns white, and the branches of trees and berries seem to be covered with an ice blanket.
Snow. Last winter was terribly beautiful in Odessa! In a few days the monthly norm of snow fell and, I honestly admit, I probably have not seen it as much in my life as in that period. The snow fell almost non-stop. I will not talk about the negative consequences of it, I'll just leave a few photos. The city changed incredibly then! All the houses were covered with snow, the trees were as they were painted in the pictures, there was knee-deep snow on the ground. I regretted that I did not have a sleigh! I was incredibly delighted with so much white around!
