Photographing Some Moments of the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque in Banda Aceh!
Hello Hive Learners and Friends!
Again and again, I want to share with friends all over the world about photography around my environment in Indonesia. I hope my friends are not bored with me and my posts. __
-- Without you, all this would be meaningless.
This time I share some photos about one of the largest and famous mosques as well as being a historic icon of the Indonesian people and Aceh in particular, namely the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque in Banda Aceh which is located in the center of the city center of the Aceh government with a river flowing in the middle of the city making this view even more beautiful. when viewed through the air or from above of course.
According to history, this mosque was first founded in 1292 AD by Sultan Alauddin Mahmud Shah I who was the last sultan to rule Aceh before the colonial invasion.
During the Dutch colonial period this mosque was burned by the Dutch before they had to rebuild it because of the Dutch fear of the Acehnese people who never give up and are known to be brave. Even a Dutch general named Kohler died at the hands of an Acehnese woman at the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque.
Back to the chronology I visited this famous place of worship. That's because I have a particular interest in going to the provincial capital of Aceh and stopping briefly to one of the most historic places and at the same time praying Asr that day. This mosque is visited by many people in the afternoon with various interests and one of them is selfies and building photography as I share below.

Always happy to share about nature around me and the things that are closest to me in the hope of giving something beautiful to all of my friends.
Stay grateful for the blessings of life today, whatever the shape and color.
Love, Seha76!
