I wanted to create something unsettling and terrifying. The context is: you are walking through the forest, you see a tree, and you decide to camp there; then, you realize that the tree was actually a creature that is staring at you in a fixed and terrifying way. Haha, don't worry, it's not aggressive, just scary and mysterious. I hope you like the result!

¡Saludos, amigos! ¡Espero que estén muy bien! Amigos, hoy quiero compartir una idea que quería desarrollar desde hace mucho tiempo sobre este personaje cuyas alas parecen una capa. Quería hacer algo inquietante y aterrador. El contexto sería: vas por el bosque, ves un árbol y decides acampar ahí; luego te das cuenta de que ese árbol era una criatura, la cual te mira fija y aterradoramente. Jaja, tranquilos, no es agresiva, solo aterradora y misteriosa. ¡Espero que les guste el resultado!

We start with a triangular figure from here we will make the character this serves as composition and to simulate the shape of a pine tree once the idea is ready we make the sketch in red and finally the lineart in black
Iniciamos con una figura triangular; desde aquí haremos el personaje. Esto nos sirve de composición y para simular la forma de un pino. Una vez lista la idea, hacemos el boceto en color rojo y, finalmente, el lineart en color negro.
We apply the base color, I used a cold palette and relatively similar to the one in the reference, I took some freedom in the tones. I also make the shape that the moon will have in the background with a brush that has that shape.
Aplicamos el color base, usé una paleta fría y relativamente parecida a la de la referencia; me tomé cierta libertad en los tonos. También hago la forma que tendrá la luna en el fondo con un pincel que tiene esa forma.
Well, we start to blur and add details from the background; on the moon, I applied the vivid light effect, which made the moon stand out a lot. I also added some more details with tree brushes. Once all the background details are finished, we can start with the details of the main character.
Bien, empezamos a difuminar y agregar detalles desde el fondo; en la luna apliqué el efecto de luz fuerte, lo cual resaltó muchísimo la luna. También agregué algo más de detalles con pinceles de árboles. Al terminar todos los detalles del fondo, podemos empezar con los detalles del personaje principal.
This part was very repetitive; what changed was the color, making feathers all over the character's body while keeping in mind that it's backlit, so I had to avoid very bright colors except in certain shapes. I also adjusted the background and the shadows reflected on the ground a bit.
Esta parte fue muy repetitiva; lo que cambió fue el color, al hacerle plumas a todo el cuerpo del personaje teniendo en cuenta que está a contraluz, por lo cual debía evitar colores muy brillantes salvo en ciertas formas. También fui ajustando un poco el fondo y las sombras que se reflejan en el suelo.
We apply the final details; the eyes were a combination of the vivid light effect and an almost white base color. I also applied a little more vegetation over all the layers. Now that I think about it, what height and weight would this creature have? This was the result.
