Welcome to Italy & Italians Community boys.
I've been thinking about this for a month now.
I kind of announced it.
I thought it was important.
A lot of people, especially in the wider community in Italy, don't think so.
We have many small niches, many communities with protagonists and admin Italian users.
Did you really need to make another one?
I think so, but without stepping on other people's toes.
I myself will not always post here but I will continue to post often elsewhere.
The world of communities will allow us to explore:
why not allow "others", non-Italian users to explore us?
A tag "ita" or "italy" or "italia" is not enough, we need a community of reference, one that collects, maybe even just in the form of cross-post all the posts that talk about Italy and Italy, about Italians and Italians.
From today there will be a community that will speak directly about us Italians! Easy to search and find.
In the covid-19 period we became proud of our country again.
We have been serious and responsible and have set an example to many other countries that have had problems with this devious virus since then.
We are the "beautiful country" for the whole world.
Culture, beauty, personality, food, sea, sun, beaches, mountains, hills.
In Italy we have everything.
We can and must be protagonists of the world revival.
Even here on Hive.
A relaunch that could really start from us Italians.
Why?
Because we are lucky enough to live in a country where the sun and the wind abound and that could bet everything on renewable energy!
We could be leaders of the green revolution.
Because we could live on culture and tourism.
With our spectacular sea of Sardinia and Sicily for example. But also with the snowy Alps from Courmayeur to Bormio. The hills of Chianti and the Piedmontese Landes. The white and red wine and our sparkling wines.
The pizza. The fish. The meat. The Mediterranean cuisine, the most loved in the world.
Because we have all the means to rise from the ashes, thanks to universities of world excellence but in which we never invest.
Because we are a country that could draw from its history to export true democracy, true freedom.
We have forgotten about it, but perhaps we can come back to remember it.
That's why I think it is right to have a community on Italy and Italians.
Without "stealing" from any community but collaborating with others, expanding the thousand facets that every single Italian user is bringing and will bring on Hive.
