Coffee shops are sprouting like crazy, aren't they? There are those with affordable prices and good taste, some are a bit pricey but serve high-quality coffee, and still others that are incredibly expensive but fall short on flavor., hahaha! Well, hey, we all have different coffee preferences, right? Some peeps prefer 3 in 1 or instant coffee from the grocery store or convenience shops.
So, one of my former orgmates told me about this new coffee shop near our university. And what about that? Ange and I love to drink coffee and visit coffee shops in the neighborhood.
Ange and I quickly made plans to check out this new coffee shop! Hahahaa, you bet we wouldn't miss it for the world. So, off we went on the third day of their grand opening.
Welcome to Seventeen Coffee Shop! 😍 I have no idea why they named it Seventeen; we were too shy to ask, hahaha! Anyways, the place is super cozy and aesthetically pleasing. My ideal setting for time to spent with your close friends, family, or loved ones. Because it's not too noisy in there, you can also enjoy reading a book while sipping on their coffee. Also, it's the ideal location for meetings and studying. 😉
As usual, we ordered our all-time favorite, Caramel Macchiato. Who wouldn't enjoy it, really? We also got some pastries to munch on while we had our coffee. I had the banana bread, and Ange got the chocolate pecan muffin.
They were delicious, no regrets with our choices. I took mine to go because my body can't handle too many espresso shots. 😅 You know, I once tried not sleeping for an entire day because of coffee, so now I'm being cautious, hahaha! Don't wanna meet St. Peter yet, just kidding! Hahaha!🤣
Oh, the one thing that saddened us was that their menu didn't have either spaghetti or fries. That's also something we usually look for in coffee shops. You know, there's just something about the perfect combination of coffee and pasta or fries, hahaha! However, as they have only recently started, they are probably still in the planning or preparation stages for their other menu items, hehe. We'll just have to wait and see what delectable specialties they decide to provide afterwards.
The staff at Seventeen Coffee Shop were super nice, too. They were friendly and always checked to see if we needed anything. Oh, and here's their price list. This is one of the pricier coffee shops we've visited, but the high-quality coffee makes up for the cost.
We didn't stay too long, though we wanted to, but our timing was off because they had a private event starting at 5 pm, celebrating their store opening. I guess we'll definitely come back to this coffee shop sometime soon. :>
How about you? What coffee do you prefer?😁 Let us know, and Ange and I will make sure to try it out the next time we visit a coffee shop. :>
