Portrait of a model in ballpoint pen #3
Retrato de una modelo en bolígrafo #3
I'm practicing... and what better way to practice than making portraits! That's why today I present to you the third portrait I'm doing in pen without a base, without the right to correct it and much less to leave it in the middle ;)
As you can see in the cover image you can see the result in pen only, which is where I try to keep the shape and the three-dimensional aspect and next to it one with a bit of color... Who said that practices must be in black and white?
For this portrait I resorted to the search and found while looking at some faces one that caught my attention, I think it was because of its shape and also that the inclination of his face I have not done it often and as the idea is to do new things what better way than to practice various poses.
As you know my idea is more than developing an impeccable technique... actually my goal with these practices is to gain a little more confidence and avoid the search for perfection... something that the Ctrl+Z command avoids in my case, since I constantly undo what I do... maybe some stains or blurs help to generate new ideas and I would like to learn to see the art within the chaos.
Without so many words I leave you the evolution of this portrait made in ballpoint pen, I hope you like it.
