Here are some of this week's finds for this #mushroommonday
I start off with a UFO that resembles sulfur tufts. Unfortunately these are much smaller than sulfur tufts.
I turned one over and noticed a really thin stem and symetrical gills. Maybe it is a strange type of mycena.
Here is a strange tuberous polypore. It is somewhat rare and edible.
It resembles a dryad's saddle but much smaller. The problem is these are somewhat tough compared to dryad's saddles.
Here are a bunch of twig parachute mushrooms aka Marasmiellus ramealis. They come out during hot summer rains.
Here is a tiny ephemeral ink cap. They last only a few hours before drying up into dust. You can find them in dark soil early in the morning.
Here is either a Ramaria stricta or formosa. Sadly neither are edible as they cause stomach aches. The crown tipped coral that grows out of wood is a great edible though and looks quite similar to this.
Now for a harvestman eating a blackberry. Maybe it is just sleeping next to them but it would be a nice juice drink for it.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
