Every return from a trip makes me sad. I have a hard time packing, unless it's packing to go on a trip. I feel some sadness, because those special days are behind me. Traveling is much more than getting from one destination to another. Those are the days that are planned for getting to know new people, culture, and most importantly, I share those days with my favorite person. Memories, souvenirs and photos are what we have left from those wonderful days.
On my desk is the camera that I took to Budapest. I like to take photos with it, it gives a special touch to the photos, and when I look at them I feel nostalgic. I picked it up and started scrolling, it's beautiful and it keeps coming back to me. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do.
Svaki povratak sa putovanja me rastuži. Pakovanje mi teško pada, ako to nije pakovanje za odlazak na neko putovanje. Osetim neku tugu, jer iza mene ostaju ti posebni dani. Putovanja su mnogo više od prelaska sa jedne destinacije na drugu. To su dani koji su isplanirani za upoznavanje novih ljudi, kulture, i što je najvažnije tada te dane delim sa svojom omiljenom osobom. Sećanja, suveniri i fotografije su ono što nam ostaje od tih divnih dana.
Na stolu mi stoji kamera koju sam nosio u Budimpeštu. Volim da fotografišem njom, daje neku posebnu notu fotografijama, a kada ih gledam osećam nostalgiju. Uzeo sam je u ruke i krenuo da listam, prelepo je i vraća mi se tamo. Nadam se da ćete i vi uživati u fotografijama koliko i ja.
The last trip I was on was Budapest. I have been there many times, but this time was special. I saw Budapest differently, it took the first place in my heart among the destinations I visited. Maybe it's because it's the first time I've been somewhere with my girlfriend.
As I write and look at the photos, the same feeling awakens in me as before that trip, excitement, admiration and happiness. We should travel and see the world as much as possible, whenever we are able to do so. We create new experiences, memories and that is what fulfills us. I love the euphoria of packing and the anticipation of moving to a new location.
Poslednje putovanje na kome sam bio je Budimpešta. Više puta sam bio tamo, ali ovaj sada je bio poseban. Budimpeštu sam video drugačije, zauzela mi je prvo mesto u mom srcu destinacija koje sam posetio. Možda je to tako zato što sam prvi put bio negde sa svojom devojkom.
Dok pišem i gledam fotografije u meni se budi isti onaj osećaj kao pred taj put, uzbuđenje, divljenje i sreća. Treba da se putuje i upoznaje svet što više, kada god smo u mogućnosti to da uradimo. Stvaramo nova iskustva, sećanja i to je ono što nas ispunjava. Volim euforiju pakovanja i isčekivanja da krenem na neku novu lokaciju.
While you lie down and enjoy the photos from my camera, I will tell you briefly how it was for me. As soon as I stepped off the bus, I felt the pleasant smell of the old town, which exudes a rich history. I grabbed my suitcase and went to the accommodation with my girlfriend. While we were driving, we watched Budapest through the window and slowly fell in love with that city.
Dok razlegate i uživate u fotografijama sa moje kamere ispričaću vam ukratko kako mi je bilo. Čim sam zakoračio iz autobusa osetio sam prijatan miris starog grada koji odiše bogatom istorijom. Zgrabio sam kofer i sa svojom devojkom otišao u smeštaj. Dok smo se vozili, kroz prozor smo posmatrali Budimpeštu i polako se zaljubljivali u taj grad.
We settled into our accommodation. They rested and quickly went on a tour. We enjoyed every step we took, every millimeter of this city. We tried not to miss anything, but also not to overdo it, to enjoy what Budapest has to offer. It offers a lot, we didn't manage to see and try everything. But we saw a lot, and we enjoyed it. We visited all the important sights, we looked at every vantage point, and we would do it again countless times.
Smestili smo se u naš smeštaj. Odmorili se i brzo krenuli u obilazak. U svakom napravljenom koraku smo uživali, u svakom milimetru ovog grada. Trudili smo se da ništa ne propustimo, ali isto tako i da ne preteramo, da uživamo u onome što nam nudi Budimpešta. Nudi mnogo toga, mi nismo uspeli sve da vidimo i isprobamo. Ali smo dosta videli, i uživali smo. Posetili smo sve značajne znamenitosti, pogledali smo svaki vidikovac, i opet bismo to ponovili još bezbroj puta.
Budapest is a magical city. When we go out for a walk, we take a different path than the previous one, and we always see something interesting on that walk. The city seems to be enchanted, because at every step we can see some artistic style, some statue or some interesting event. We were never bored, I think it's hard to be bored in a new place. Whenever I leave the accommodation I feel like a little monkey exploring. Every new part of the city that I walk through excites me. The most beautiful part is crossing the Chain Bridge, in the middle where you can see the whole of Budapest. He looks at the parliament, and across the street from it, you can see the palace, and next to it, in the distance, you can see the Fisherman's Fortress. The fisherman's fortress attracted the most attention to us then. I guess because it stands mysteriously in the distance. It is worth visiting, it also has a restaurant with a view of the whole of Budapest, and that view is enough, I felt fulfilled.
Budimpešta je magičan grad. Kada izađemo u šetnju, uzmemo drugačiji put od prethodnog, i u toj šetnji uvek vidimo nešto zanimljivo. Grad kao da je začaran, jer na svakom koraku možemo videti neki umetnički stil, neku statuu ili neki zanimljivi događaj. Nikada nam nije bilo dosadno, mislim i da je teško da na nekom novom mestu bude dosadno. Kada god izađem iz smeštaja osećam se kao mali majmun koji istražuje. Svaki novi deo grada kroz koji se prošetam me oduševi. Najlepši deo je prelazak preko Lančanog mosta, i to na sredini gde se vidi cela Budimpešta. Pogleda na parlament a preko puta njeka se vidi palati i pored, u daljini se nazire Ribarska tvrđava. Ribarska tvrđava nam je tada privukla najviše pažnje. Valjda zato što stoji misteriozno u daljini. Vredi je posetiti, ima i restoran sa pogledom na celu Budimpeštu, a taj pogled je dovoljan, osećao sam se ispunjeno.
Walking around Budapest I realized that it is not just a city, and not just Budapest but any other destination. These are not ordinary destinations, they are feelings that guide us, that show us something new and teach us to walk with an open heart wherever we are and we will feel satisfied. We return from such trips with a full heart, smiling and satisfied, and with the desire to start a new adventure.

Hodajući Budimpeštom shvatio sam da to nije samo grad, i ne samo Budimpešta već bilo koja druga destinacija. To nisu obične destinacije to su osećaji koji nas vode, koji nam pokazuju nešto novo i uče nas da gde god bili hodamo otvorenog srca i osećaćemo se zadovoljnim. Sa takvih putovanja se vraćamo punog srca, nasmejani i zadovoljni, i sa željom da započnemo novu avanturu.
