Hello everyone, hope you are doing very well and that your day is going very too.
For this week, we are told told to write about a popular statement we do not agree to and as such I have a lot of statements I do not agree too. But I will be talking about one of them that affects everyone and this state has mar a lot of people.
There is this statement that goes "love is blind" and sometimes people would add the love is blind deaf and dumb. 😃😃 I really wonder why people would say that and even believe that.
Love is something you do as a responsibility without having to to look back. A lot of people have neglected the place of intelligence when it comes to relationship and marriage because if this statement, like are you for real? Why would you end up with someone that has a bad character and still say that it is love, why would you even end with someone that beats you because he said he loves you and because you just feel it so you end up with him.
Why would you end up with someone that stings you with actions and words that make you feel low? Why would you even end up with someone that feels he or she is doing you a favour by marrying you? Love should not make you sad even when it corrects you or scolds you. You are supposed to be happy that someone loves and cares for you, not to feel indebted because of what that person says to you.
Love is not blind; it is a responsibility you have to do for a particular person. It is not a feeling; it is more than what you feel and more than what you think. Make sure that you are loved by the person that says he or she loves you and not just that the person says it. Seek to know about a person that tells you that he or she loves you, and check if there is any form of responsibility he or she is doing to make sure you grow.
I mean, if you are loved, you will know it more than the gifts people get for you or what they want to do for you. Make sure that you realize the kind of love you are getting.
You need to look at someone's character, what he or she can offer, etc., before you love, so that you will not end up loving the wrong person.
